State Park Adjacent

Just a short walk from the beach at Nolin Lake State Park and about a 30 min drive from Mammoth Cave National Park. Such a lovely place to stay!

Loved my stay with my kids. Hosts are very accommodating. The bunk bed was pretty unique! Im going back in the fall thats for sure.

Had a great time at the Cozy Cabin! Email was sent to check in and all the necessary information. Mammoth Cave is a huge place with many access areas so it was easy to see the confusion with proximity. Walking distance to Nolan Lake. Quite and clean just what we needed to get away.

Relaxing weekend with the outdoors!

We chose this rental because of the location. We wanted a place to relax and enjoy a quiet environment! We got that: It is located close to mammoth cave for cave adventures but we enjoyed the close walk to the beach /lake area and the hiking trails( loved the waterfalls). Cabin is clean and very inviting. Everything a couple needs!!! We had a blast! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Cozy cabin

It’s understood the location was rustic but for the price of the overall stay, the interior of the cabin should have been cleaner. Very dirty floors, dirty dishes in the cupboard, worms and ticks inside was not appropriate for the price.

Everything was great from the moment we got there. The cozy cabin was easy to find and right next to Nolan lake State park which is awsome! Everything in the kitchen and bathroom was well stocked and and the bed and couches were extremely comfortable my kids loved the double king size bunk bed. Plenty of seating outside and in the screened in porch and a large fire pit in front of the cabin. There were very few bugs also and overall a great experience and the entire family really enjoyed staying there. I even forgot my iPad charger there and the management gladly mailed it back to me the next day they are very friendly and accommodating!

The place was just dirty and could use some renovations. We stopped here on our way through and after 2 hours, we decided to just cut our loss and drive home.

Although very clean, the smell was not the best. The property is listed as close to lake Nolin and it is not. A/C was not properly functioning night one. We left and cut out loses after the first night. Very uncomfortable feeling of being watched. Beautiful property and view of the hills. Lots of amenities such as bbq and fire pit.

When we arrived it was Hot The window unit was not on .so we turn it no and went down to the lake for 2 hours. came back still hot. went out for dinner another 2 hours came back and still 85 degrees in side the cabin at had a musty moldy smell There was a can a Febreze on the refrigerator so they knew that it smelled. the window unit that keep flashing clean filter was barely working. no one could sleep on the top bunk because it was 90 degrees up there.so i had to sleep on the couch and watched carpenter ants walking and falling from the ceiling over the fire place. the bath room had roach dropping in the closet above the hot water heater.so by the time we left in the morning it was still warm in there I will not recommend this to anyone unless your looking a HOT smelly cabin in the woods

2 night stay

We chose this house because of its proximity to mammoth cave. The house itself was fine, but unfortunately housekeeping has not been cleaning properly. There were many issues with cleanliness which I have reached out to the host about so hopefully it has been taken care of. The condition of the cabin met our expectation for the price, just not in the area of cleanliness.

Refreshed and recharged

We came in later in the evening. This property was easy to locate. The property manager was very nice! The area is so beautiful as was the weather!
