Great Beach House!

Our family had a great time staying at this beach house. The home is beautiful and nicely furnished. The location is also amazing and this is the cleanest and most well stocked beach house we have ever stayed at in Galveston!

Fabulous house!

Our family (9 adults) had a wonderful Christmas in Galveston! House was beautiful, everything as pictured, had everything we needed and more! Hosts were available and very helpful with some unexpected weather related issues. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with plenty of space and bathrooms for large groups. Very short walk to the beach. The house is supplied with plenty of things to do at the beach and around the house.

Home is beautiful. Walking distance to beach. Pretty neighborhood. Had a couple questions after booking that host graciously answered. Fun trip with family and friends. Recommend this rental.

Very well appointed home. Kitchen well stocked which made it easy to prepare and cook. Each bedroom was beautifully decorated and had its own bathroom. The master suite was amazing! Private balcony with bed swing. The bathroom was beautiful with large shower and separate tub. There were lots of beach essentials to use and we loved playing ping pong. Easy walk to beach which was very private. We loved our stay!

Great house for families

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is very clean well appointed. They have everything we needed. The description of the house is accurate but you should know the bunk room is not connected from the inside of the home but it is easy to get too and perfect if you have teenagers! We had 4 small children so we had 1 adult stay with them. Great place overall!

The three bedrooms and bathrooms up stairs were awesome! The downstairs bathroom was over worked because it was the only one on that level, needing to service one bedroom and the main floor needs. The house could have used more seating space in the living room area to accommodate our group of 13!The owners thought of everything else! The amenities were great and everything was well stocked!

Beautiful home

The home was beautifully remodeled. It was great to have three bedrooms with adjoining en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen and family room were large enough for all 12 of us to congregate, eat, and have fun together. We enjoyed a ping pong tournament and some games of corn hole. It was overcast and rained every day we were there but it was still warm and what’s a little rain when you are already wet from swimming at the beach or going down slides at the nearby water park. Rachel responded to our questions very quickly and provided information that we needed in order to have a great vacation. Thanks for providing a lovely home with all of the amenities to make it perfect.

Roomy house and a quick walk to the beach!

We enjoyed our long weekend at this house. We had 7 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids. The house was just the right size. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, playing ping pong, and the large dinning room table. The house had everything we needed - kitchen was well-equipped with pretty much everything you could think of. The only thing we didn't like was that the room with the bunk beds had no bathroom attached and was only accessible with stairs outdoors. Our original plan was to have the kids in there but didn't want them to have to go outside if they had to go to the bathroom or needed anything. Would be fine for adults but not kids. Really enjoyed our stay - loved walking to the beach and all of the beach toys provided!

Great Beach House for Families

The house was absolutely beautiful, well maintained and taken care of, you don't see this level of care in many properties. The pictures actually do this place justice, and you get the experience as pictured online. The entry for the large bunk room is odd and would be best suited for older kids, but we ended up not needing that room. The bedding, linens and house were well stocked including toiletries, beach towels and basic cooking items, which is so nice considering you are about 25 minutes from large grocery areas. The beach items were a must have for this location as we spent a significant amount of time on the beach. The beach is a hard pack super fine sand, and the water was perfectly warm. We did encounter jellyfish, so beware, but nothing against this property at all. The AC worked great in all rooms and we all stayed comfortable. I would absolutely come back for another trip.

Great location but beware of insects

First of all, when we got down of the car, everyone had to run inside because of the amount of mosquitoes we were attacked by. All little kids were terrified from that experience. There is collection of water everywhere around from rain, which is a breeding area for mosquitoes and they need to take care of it. Bunk beds are located on the ground floor with no connection to upper level or no access to rest rooms. Making their use very limited. I generally don’t give bad reviews, but I was disappointed. I would not stay here again.

We’re so sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. We strive to make every guest comfortable and happy. Unfortunately there are some circumstances such as weather that we are not able to control. We had heavy (borderline record breaking) rain all week prior to your stay. We typically don’t have standing water in the neighborhood but it can happen in extreme circumstances which can lead to mosquitos on the Texas Gulf Coast. We do provide citronella candles, mosquito spray and various other remedies in the laundry room cabinets. We try to be clear in our description listing, the bunk room is described as being a bonus room on the bottom floor with access through the garage. Our home is listed as a 5/4. Each bathroom is pictured with a description of the location under each picture as well as in the general description so we apologize if there was a misunderstanding that the bunk room had an attached bathroom We will consider options to make things more clear.

Pleasantly Surprised!

Though I had my heart set on a Beach front home, the distance to the beach was closer than expected and a very pleasant walk. The neighborhood is very nice. The home had everything you could think of needing. Kitchen was very well stocked. There were usb chargers all over the house including a stand in the kitchen with all types of chargers to fit all the different phones. The first thing I look for when renting a vacation rental are the beds. I cant sleep in an abused bed/ bedspread. They were all clean and comfortable and the bedding was gently used. I would not only recommend this home but stay there again. They even provided some detergent pods to wash your clothes. Everything was wonderful. Please NOTE the extra sleeping quarters/ bunk room on the bottom floor does NOT have access to the inside the house. You have to walk outside and up the stairs to access the house. Not a major deal unless you need the bathroom. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and patio!!! It was one of the larger pools we’ve had with vacation rentals and certainly made our stay enjoyable. The home is very nice, tastefully decorated, and with a well stocked kitchen and large pantry space. Our only downside was the bunk room within a storage garage space and no downstairs restroom, making this home more of a 4 BR 4B. Anyone with small children cannot use the bunk room safely. The pool/patio gets full sun and lacking a space to enjoy grill prepping and drink storage. An outdoor refrigerator/counter space and bathroom would have rated this home 5 stars. We didn’t use the garage toys or equipment and brought our own but appeared to be as pictured and clean.

Stating the bunk room is located in the garage with no direct access to the main house, we also note that it is best suited for older children. Our listing also identifies the home as a 5-bedroom, 4-bath home and includes the location of each bedroom and bathroom so guests can determine if the layout is the right fit for their group. While we do agree a ground floor bathroom and refrigerator would be lovely, because of local coastal building regulations and our proximity to the beach, adding a ground-level bathroom is not permitted. Likewise, outdoor refrigerators typically do not hold up well in the salt-air environment. We continually look for ways to improve our guests’ experience while working within those limitations. Easy access to beach. Big pool. Not deep easy to play and stand in, good pool floating. Does get sun all day :) very generous with supplies. Didn’t have to use my own. Beach towels and shower towels are a plus. Have plenty of beach gear and a wagon to use! Plenty of stuff in the kitchen only thing I didn’t find was a vase for some flowers, meaning they have you covered on normal items which was so nice! Only thing to point out is the bunk room is definitely not to put young kids in, its outside of the main house and no bathroom but they do disclose that. Just letting you know when arranging sleep. The house is beautiful-fully decorated. Everything was in working order. No complaints only compliments.

We had 6 adults staying. We loved that we could have our own bathrooms and privacy then join together in the spacious common areas. Home was very clean and well laid out. Would definitely book again!!
