Detailed cabinetry, rich hardwood floors, and antique finishes are featured throughout this enchanted Victorian home that was originally constructed in 1889. This space will whisk you away to a place of unparalleled vacation ambiance necessary for any Music City experience.
The Space:
★The Layout★
This is a historic, 1890's Victorian home. There is a stately, breathtaking front porch that also wraps around one side. The front door enters the living room which includes a queen size sleeper sofa and fireplace. The next room is the dining room with a small fireplace. Off the dining room is the bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a door in the bedroom to exit onto the porch. Also off of the dining room is the kitchen which also includes a brick fireplace. Beyond the kitchen is a small passage nook area with a large window looking out to the yard with a long shelf and stools for enjoying coffee in the morning. Beyond the coffee nook is the bathroom. There is a second bedroom with two additional queen beds. New laundry area is right inside the unit as of July 2020 and houses a free washer and dryer for guest use.
*The unit is a private apartment in a house and has its own private door. There is one other full time tenant that also lives onsite with their own private door and unit. This tenant does have outdoor cats. Please note that there are outdoor security cameras, but no cameras inside of the listing of course.
★Parking★
There are two areas to park. One is right in front of the home on 2nd Ave and the other has a gated parking lot, which is located on the side of the home on Crenshaw St.
★Neighborhood★
Chestnut Hill is a historic neighborhood in Nashville, TN, located just 1 mile from Broadway. This neighborhood includes historic Victorian homes, farmhouses, modern homes, and condos with great views of downtown Nashville and access to nearby amenities.
★House Rules★
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am. For real, take the party to the Honky Tonks on Broadway. Additionally, thank you for respecting our 'no smoking' and 'no pets' policy so that we can keep our properties in the best condition possible. Pets include but are not limited to cats, zebras, livestock, and/or spouses. There are also no firearms permitted within the home or on the surrounding property. Should you choose to ignore this, there will be a $300 fine assessed for breaking either of these rules. We thank you for refraining and being respectful of our homes - please don't make us hunt you down for fines as it cuts into our nap time.

You are renting a private home. Please treat the property with the respect you would like shown to your own home. We get that accidents happen – some more sober than others – and we want you to be aware of your Damage Waiver coverage should something get a little wild during your stay. In an attempt to make this easier for you, the Damage Waiver fee is included in your cleaning fee. Here’s how it works: by booking with Stay Local Nashville, Inc., you understand and accept that your booking fees include a Damage Waiver. It is the Guests’ responsibility (that’s you!) to report damage that is caused to the Property during your stay. The vacation rental Damage Waiver is not insurance, but instead an agreement by Stay Local Nashville, Inc., to replace or repair unintentional damages up to $1,000.00 (one thousand dollars) in total to the rental unit’s interior. Damages that qualify for this agreement must occur during a Guest’s reservation, be disclosed to management prior to check out, and the Damage Waiver must have been paid in full prior to arrival (don’t worry, it’s wrapped into the cleaning fee!). Place was great for us. Family that cooks. Beds are comfy. Easy walk to Broadway spectacle. Easy to get a few runs in before the day got started. Private parking! Glad to have stayed in a house. Everything worked. Definitely recommend for family.

Great place to stay!
My business partner and I were in town for a convention. Instead of staying at the Convention Center we stayed at the Pritchard House. It was great to get away from the venue and stay in a home. The Pritchard House is charming, comfortable, a little weird and totally fun! We enjoyed the veranda and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. We would definately come back if we are in Nashville again.
