Bait and switch!

I am extremely unhappy! This listing was a complete bait and switch. After this experience I will never use vrbo again. The listing showed pictures of clean high end rooms, pictures of views and outdoor areas that existed no where near the property. In the listing it said depending on availability. So one would assume it meant the room types in the pictures shown? Nope booked lower quality rooms for the same price. These rooms were dirty. Crumbs all over the floor, dirty microwaves, unclean toilets. The property have full broken window panels laying in the grass. On top of all that it was never stated in the listing it was a red roof in. Goid information to know ahead of time. The hotel offered a refund. The rental office the listing is through said they would offer a refund once verified but if I dont get my refund you will be hearing from me!

Hotel rooms shouldn’t be on vrbo

When we got there, there were people hanging out with brown bags and the police, ambulance and fire just got there. A person at the restaurant said they are always there. I believe some live at this hotel. The outside was littered with empty cups and garbage. The floors in the room were dirty and disgustingly slippery. When I tried calling before we left to see what they had in room, the number listed kept saying error and when I finally talked to the main lobby, the women answering the phone couldn’t tell me what was in the room ( I was making sure they had a hair dryer) she shouldn’t have been answering the phone. She kept saying they didn’t have a double room available ? When I got there I noticed there was a dryer but it didn’t work , the electric plug didn’t work in the bathroom. Also one of the room plugs you couldn’t plug anything in because it was too big and everything kept falling out. A fan in the bathroom would have been nice so you didn’t have to wait for steam to clear. One of the rooms also had cigarettte holes in the sheet. I and others with us will never go to this hotel again and definitely be more careful on Vrbo.
