A Great Stay!

My husband and I are visiting each and every WI State Park. Our stay at Deer Run was absolutely perfect for our hike on Rock Island. This recently renovated site was super clean, bright, and cheery. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. We would recommend Deer Run!!

Great place, great location!

Great newly updated room with a king bed! Owner very nice and available for any questions/issues onsite. Which we did not have ANY! Will be back for sure!

Great little Motel on a quaint Golf-course

This was our first visit to Washington Island. The property managers of the Motel/Golf-course, Jordan & Eric were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a little sitting area to enjoy the golf course view and were within walking distance to the Farmer's Market and a few local establishments. I would highly recommend!!

Cute, cute, cute.

The room was just like it showed on the website. It was cozy, very clean and had the things we needed for our few days on the Island. Jordan and Eric are amazing, friendly, and caring hosts. It was a great price as well. We will definitely book again when we are up that way.

The bed was comfortable and the design of the bedroom area was cute. We had some challenges and we had to contact VRBO for support. They helped us get those items resolved. I would suggest packing ear plugs, if you're a light sleeper and bring your toiletries. The location was close to many of places for dining.

Remodeled units with view of hole #9

We stayed in unit #1 and it was the size of a hotel room or slightly smaller. Room was clean, but the the clubhouse was closed. Located right next to a 9-hole golf course ($20 to walk, $30 with a cart). Not the best course (under new management), but certainly worth your time to play. Within 5 minutes of several bars and restaurants. We'd stay there again.

A wonderful stay at Washington Island

Where we stayed was well kept. The property manager and his helper worked all day to make the golf course fun to play on. His wife had our room all ready when we got there. We have been coming to this motel at the golf course for many years, and we have never been disappointed. This year, the property manager even gave us free golf for being their guests. What a surprise and blessing. They have high speed internet now and netflex along with satellite TV. It was a great experience. Kirk Leach

Room was clean and good size. No one was there at check in. No one at clubhouse and all doors locked. We finally went to our room and found door unlocked and open with key on desk. Restaurant on property was closed both days we were there and the golf course on property was closed both days we were there. This was during peak vacation season.

They only had smart TV, and you had to have an account or start one and watch.. This means there was no cable to watch. Also, if you had no cash, you had to pay for golf through Venmo. If you don't have a smart phone, you can't charge on it.

Disappointing

The amenities listed on the website are very misleading. Realizing we visited near the end of the season I still wasn’t expecting a ‘ghost town’ calling itself a resort. The drinks and food… and the Biergarten were non existent. The clubhouse was locked up with nobody around. The room was cute and clean but there was no microwave or coffee maker as promised. The view from the window onto the private patio was a weed-surrounded pump house. Very disappointing considering what you charge for the room. We reserved the room for two nights but left after the first night. Won’t be back

The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The room was nice and clean. The only thing I would like to see is the room to have a coffee maker and a microwave, otherwise was great.

Awsom host couple for the golf course property

The property is very unique with the rooms by the golf course. the bar and property are very clean. The course is very playable with the upgrades and grounds repairs that are in process. Room was very clean and convenient with the parking area. We met other golfers and the property manager family. Very inviting.

Super Relaxed Island Golf

Everything was made easy. We were golfing beginners and needed to build confidence while having a relaxing, fun time. Staff were great. The facility was easy to figure out. No worries and fun.
