Welcome to Kings Beach—Tahoe’s funky, laid-back lake town. This cozy mountainside hotel suite is the perfect year-round base for your Tahoe adventure.

You’re minutes from hiking, golf, river rafting, and lake activities, with cross-country and downhill skiing taking over in winter. Restaurants, bars, beaches and local entertainment within walking distance.

Inside, unwind with two comfy queen beds and a TV with streaming. A mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave making mornings easy, while the walk-in shower is perfect after a day on the lake or slopes.

THINGS TO KNOW
In order to watch streaming services, guests must use their own login credentials.
No washer/dryer on-site.
Kitchenette with minifridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good location but bad when it comes a cleanliness

Location was good as it was close to everything. I am not clean freak by any means but the way the room was left for us when we arrived was disappointing. The shower curtain was moldy to the point that I was able to smell it for the front door. The sheets weren’t clean. For the price I would expect more.

Dog friendly but overpriced and moldy

We chose this place because it was dog friendly and near the beach but we probably won’t return. The sheets, towels and bathroom all smelled like mildew and the walls were VERY thin. There also seems to be an issue with their TVs. Our TV would turn on and off and on its own, I suspect it was reading a signal from the neighboring rooms.

Three and a half stars

This is a small, quiet room. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. I would probably stay here again, however, it wouldn't necessarily be my 1st choice. The shower was terrible, there's no A/C, but there is a heater, so staying in the winter months is probably your best option. Vacasa did a nice job in communicating getting checked in, getting into the unit, and checking out. However we did request to extend our check out time, and received no response. Other than that I would highly recommend the Vacasa services.

The bedding was very thin and not complete sets for either bed. The room smelled like a backed up drain and musty. The shower is unsafe as it has no light inside, it’s very dark behind shower curtain and the water turns scorching hot on its own. The room is also lacking plug outlets, only one under tv opposite side of the room from nightstand and definitely no usb plugs either. Property lacking any landscaping, just dirt.Very disappointing.

Great Place near beach

We had a great stay. The check in process was difficult. We could only get into our unit because the house cleaner was still there and could help us with the code. There was a couple there with us, trying to get into their unit and their lock had to be recoded. Phone calls were needed. Our AC didn't work. Otherwise nice place and near beaches and sightseeing places. A bit loud at night as near street.

All went well, easy parking and nice location. Arrived after dark and found the unit with no problem. The only thing not right was the front door was not latched and the lights were on. We thought someone was inside at first. Called out and then went in and all was well.

Quick stay in North Tahoe

Just needed a place to shower and sleep, and this fit the bill. Nothing fancy but it was clean and centrally located. Easy parking in front was a bonus!
