This cozy one-bedroom unit is a perfect space to pause and unwind in downtown Cañon City.

This unit is connected to a separate, 4-bedroom house (also available for rent - https://www.vrbo.com/2568002). Corner lot with off-street parking for one car, and additional on-street parking available.

Within 1 mile: historic downtown Cañon City, scenic River Walk, Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Centennial Park (playground and splash pad), whitewater kayak park, Skyline Drive and Hogback Open Space. Many local trail systems are nearby, offering year-round mountain biking, hiking or trail running. 20 minute drive to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. One hour drive to Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Salida or Westcliffe.

The check-in process was very easy and smooth, and the location is fantastic! We took the Royal Gorge train ride, which was conveniently close by. After the train ride, we had some spare time, so we visited the prison museum. Everything was within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable stay.

Comfortable overnight stay

We had a comfortable overnight stay in this cozy one bedroom retreat. The place was very welcoming and clean!!! The whole place was very clean and tidy. The bed was cozy and comfortable.In the morning we walked to Main Street for a cup of coffee.

Quiet, Calm and Clean

This was our first time in Cañon City and we very much enjoyed our stay. The host was kind and left snacks which was much appreciated after a long drive. The location was super close to downtown and also had a pretty view.I was worried that being in a neighborhood we would have had a noise issue but there wasn’t. It was quiet and peaceful.The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! The hot tub was relaxing.We very much enjoyed our stay and will recommend this place to whomever is traveling Cañon City!

Pet and people friendly

Loved the roomy cabin-like feel of the this rental. Plenty of room, so much nicer than staying in a hotel/motel. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. We didn't have long enough to check out the hot tub and we aren't bicyclists, but two bikes were available and looked like they were ready to be used. We would definitely book this location again if we make another trip to Canyon City.

Beyond perfect!!

Cute, quaint little “cottage.” Came to reunite with a friend/HS sweetheart and the location was perfectly placed between their home and the CO Springs airport. While we spent most of our time outdoors after a surprise snowstorm, I did get one full day of rest and relaxation before heading back. The couch left something to be desired, but the hot tub? Chefs kiss, favorite part of my stay. The bed is comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and it was in fact a short 5 minute walk to Main Street. Thanks for having me, and I WILL be booking again.

Cozy Retreat

This 1 bed private apartment was just what we needed. Walking the dog, we saw deer and felt very safe in this neighborhood within walking distance to town. Host was kind and thoughtful about our needs. If we return to Canon City, we will stay here again.

Wonderful host and location

We loved this location and hour host was so responsive and kind. It was located within walking distance of restaurants, which we loved. We even saw deer across the street while we had our morning coffee! Thank you for a lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again! We highly recommend.
