Worth every step! The apartment itself was lovely. The views of Banje beach and the Ploče gate into Old Town were extraordinary. Our host was very kind and informative. He even helped us arrange transfer to and from Dubrovnik airport. Yes, there are actually 97 stair steps. But it's worth it!

Loved location beautiful balcony facing Banje Beach Wifi was not strong enough but Gasper very informative and helpful Alen the driver was excellent and picked up my son at 4.30 am and back for us at 11:00 am would recommend but upgrade wifi for next time

Beautiful, clean and perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. It was beautiful, clean, and in in a perfect location. The views of Old Town, Lokrum Island and the Adriatic Sea from the windows, deck and balcony are stunning. The location was great with a short walk to Banje Beach and Old Town. Dino was responsive to our messages and helped us arrange transportation from the airport and back. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean.

Amazing location!

This property was perfect for six of us travelling. The location alone was so convenient to everything. The outside verandah has a great view for a relaxing escape from the sun. I would not hesitate staying there again.

Excellent location with amazing views of Old Town

My husband and I traveled with my teenage son and this property couldn’t have been better. The place was exactly as it showed on VRBO but the views cannot be depicted in photos as well as they are in person. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony salon the evenings to watch the sites of Old Town and the amazing patio in the morning to see yachts and boats and Lokrum island. The property managers were extremely helpful and responsive through the VRBO app as well as sharing their numbers for texts. They arranged for transfer to and from the airport which helped quite a bit because the driver knew to pick up and drop off at the right location (top of the stairs vs bottom which does matter if you want to avoid a lot of traffic especially going back to the airport). The price of the transfer for a large van was 50 euros, even better than what Uber would charge. Although Uber was readily available in Dubrovnik. One of the property managers met us at the stairs to show us the property and give us tips on where to go and shop. There are so many walkable grocery stores around to grab drinks, wine, alcohol, meats, etc. Old Town was 6 minutes walk to and from, very accessible. Everything was amazing with this property, and it had all of the amenities you would need for your stay. The only warning I will give are the stairs. You need to be in decent shape to stay anywhere in Dubrovnik. Steep stairs are everywhere, but it is worth it!!

The apartment was fantastic. The view is stunning and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace every day. Dino was so helpful and made our stay easy. Highly, highly recommend.

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik!! Beautiful views from the Apartment. Lovely setup. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the Balcony with gorgeous views. Dino and Gasper were very helpful. Highly recommend! Lots of stairs but worth it.

We had a fantastic time staying at this location in Dubrovnik. Upon reviewing options, we decided to stay with a VRBO as it was three of us traveling. We wanted to have our own separate spaces, but great communal areas that we could enjoy together. As soon as my dad seen this listing, he absolutely fell in love with the views and said book it. Although we were concerned about the hundred steps up to the property as our dad is aging, he was more than willing to do so to enjoy those views. Some days when my sister and I wanted to go out and adventure around Dubrovnik, dad was happy to just sit and enjoy the patio, relaxing and watching the sailboats go by. The property itself has three separate bedrooms and two shared bathrooms. Although the furnishings within the property are very outdated, the location more than makes up for it, including the views. The property itself was very clean besides a bit of mould in the showers, which I do think needs to be addressed. Other than that the bed linens and towels were fabulous and high-quality. I think the addition of beach towels would be nice to have, but do note if you’re staying here and wanting to use the beach, you’ll have to bring your own beach towels. The location was incredible with only a seven minute walk into the old town walls. Just below the steps are a number of great small grocery stores, and one of the best restaurants we ate at in Croatia, and a great little bakery, and the best gelato shop in town. Highly recommend

Exceptional stay in Dubrovnik!

This home was absolutely perfect! The location is ideal as it's right above Banje beach and a 5 min walk to the less busy city gates. There's a market nearby which was convenient. Gino was a wonderful host who helped with all our needs. The view is fabulous!! It's quiet at night, and well equipped. There were tortoises is the garden, much to the delight of our kids. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks for a great stay in Dubrovnik!

Incredible Views & Awesome Location

Arrived with the family late in the evening and Dino organized a private transfer for us, met us at the apartment and helped us with our many bags. The location and views can’t be beat and we made some incredible memories that will be with us forever.

Perfect place to stay!

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Dubrovnik. The apartment location is absolutely perfect...within minutes of the beach, restaurants, stores/market, and old town. The views from every room are stunning, and the porches are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The kids were completely smitten with the turtles in the garden and would look for them each morning. Hosts are wonderful to work with and communication was great! Every person in our family (including the early teenager!) loved this property. Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What an amazing apartment! The location could not be better
close to beach and old town and restaurants. Spacious apartment with a well-appointed kitchen. But the side balcony was my favorite! Always a breeze and the best view in all of Dubrovnik!! Thank you Dino for your hospitality and for sharing your apartment!

Fabulous

Such a lovely apartment in a fabulous location. The view from the apartment is stunning and has a wonderful shaded outdoor dining area. The apartment is furnished in a traditional style which is exactly what we were after. You will need to have some degree on fitness to stay here as there are lots of steps. However, Dino was there to greet us and help us with our luggage. We loved it here as it was close to the beach and the old town which is amazing. We would come again! Thanks Dino and Gasper

Perfect location and the best view in Dubrovnik!

This apartment is the absolute perfect location to enjoy the best of Dubrovnik. We were able to easily walk to Old Town, Banje Beach, the cable car, the grocery, bakeries, and tons of restaurants in five minutes or less. The apartment is super comfortable and has everything you need and then some. I especially want to say how wonderful it was to have more than enough towels - both bath and beach - a must when you are swimming daily. Communication with the owner and her reps was fabulous - they arranged seamless airport transfers for us - met us at the apartment to show us around - left us with amazing recommendations, including a perfect local guide, Marina, who gave us the best private tour of the Old Town. We were able to check out late giving us a last full day to enjoy the city. The view is incomparable from both the balcony and the verandah and we loved taking our meals out there after cooking in the fully appointed kitchen. A lot of reviews mention the stairs - it is 95 steps up from the lower road, but I will say, as someone with a bad back and bad knees, they were really no problem. Just be prepared for them, take your time, and enjoy everything the place has to offer once you get up there. Thank you to Marija and Hasse for sharing your home with us! We can't wait to come again!

Paradise on Earth

Hands down the best home I have ever stayed at during a vacation. From the balcony and terrace views to the fully equipped, beautiful kitchen, the AC on hot days to the unbeatable location, I couldn’t have asked for more. On top of all that, hosts Marija and Nika were incredibly kind, understanding, helpful, human. I was lucky to stay for 10 days but even that wasn’t enough. I will be back and back again and again and again. Book this home now — you won’t have any regrets whatsoever. Hvala, Marija and Nika. For everything.

Comfortable Apartment

A well furnished apartment with all the essentials for a comfortable holiday, lots of space and good outdoor seating/dining. The views across the bay to the harbour from terrace and bedrooms are excellent. It is a great apartment for anyone without mobility impairment as the access road is a long set of stairs. The owners and local staff were helpful and accommodating making for a trouble-free stay.

All around great experience!

This property is located in such close proximity to Old Town, no need to Uber or take a bus. The owner and manager are fantastic to communicate with. We were met at the top of the stairs and helped with our luggage. We were so impressed with the roomy apartment, it had everything we needed. We were thrilled to find a toaster, coffee maker (bring your own grounds from home), and ice! Everything we needed. The VIEW FROM THE TERRACE! No words to describe the beauty of it. We don't have one negative thing to say. Be prepared for the steps, we were just glad we weren't staying at the top. It's about 100 stairs down to the street. Thank you from us 4 Canadians!

What a way to start a holiday

Location, location, location. Apartment Cypress cannot be beat. The views - from the balcony, the living room, the bedrooms. The hues of the Adriatic. The ships and sailboats. The evening skies. My family and friends have had difficulties believing their eyes. Truthfully, so have we. The comforts of the apartment. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Well-appointed kitchen, dining and living rooms. The owner's carefully curated notes about what to see, where to eat, how to travel around the Old City and surrounding areas. Follow her advice! This home was the best way for us to start our 14 day European holiday and if we have the good fortune of traveling again to Dubrovnik, we hope to stay here.

Lovely Dubrovnik

Hi, just back from a great 16 nights in Dubrovnik. The apartment was like a home from home, from the moment our taxi picked us up till leaving, everything was perfect. It was in a great location with some exercise steps each night to burn off the ice cream, and a tortoise hunt every time we went out! Thankyou for letting us into your home. Simon and kids.
