Aside from the ultra-convenient location (just a short walk from campus) you'll love the private fenced-in backyard with patio and at-home comforts like high-speed internet and a soaking tub. Choose to spend your days relaxing in the backyard, exploring campus & downtown, or cruising the waters at Lake Belton. The house is located in the historic district, a short walk to campus & downtown. The neighborhood has beautiful old houses, is safe, and quaint. There is a railroad a few blocks over but it’s not very noticeable.

Girls Holiday Shopping Weekend in Salado/Belton

I planned a weekend shopping trip for myself and a few besties. We're all from the surrounding area and needed a place to stay for one night. This was PERFECT - everything about it was PERFECT. It is located in Belton, just off the main street and right up the highway from Salado. We had the best time!

Great Stayq

We will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity. This place was clean, had plenty of room for our family (3 young kids) and was reasonably priced. It met all of our needs and even had a small container of toys which entertained kids in the evening before bed time. We appreciate how well kept this place was and hope others enjoy it as much as we did.

Cozy Cottage in the Heart of Belton

Tanner and Kat have a gem in historic Belton, Texas! We immediately felt at home in this beautiful cottage! The hosts have thought of everything a traveler needs and the location was perfect!

Beautiful clean home

Tanner’s home is so beautiful and clean, very spacious and comfortable. We had an issue with the shower which was total user error and Tanner went out of his way to help us. I would recommend this house to anyone and would stay here again if we were ever in town.

Exceptional Stay

What a beautiful home and what wonderful hosts! The house is a quaint and classic representation of what homes used to be but very beautifully updated. The property was very well cleaned and communication with the host was spectacular. We were in the area for 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. The location is also a plus. It is very close to the grocery store and easily accessible to anything else you may need.

Weekend Stay

My husband and I spent the weekend, along with my parents, to attend a wedding. This was a very comfortable home with any amenities we could need. Beds and furniture were comfortable and everything was clean and well-maintained. I especially appreciated that coffee supplies were provided. Other places I’ve stayed did not include that.

Cutest house ever!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this super cute historic house! From the beginning the owners were very accommodating. The house is super clean and cozy. As we stay in rentals fairly often, I really appreciated the attention to detail
like labeling light switches and having coffee and the fixings supplied. Would not hesitate to book this rental again with my family!

The cottage is definitely historic, but full of modern amenities it is centrally located in historic Belton. A great place to stay!

Stressful stay

Overall, our stay at this house was disappointing. The location near the train station made it incredibly noisy, and the vibrations from passing trains shook the house. The lock didn't work properly, and we arrived to find the living room window unlocked, which raised security concerns. Additionally, there was leftover trash on the living room furniture upon our arrival. One of the most frustrating issues was the loss of water pressure at one point, which prevented us from flushing toilets, causing significant inconvenience. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable, offering a decent night's sleep despite the challenges.

Amazing property

I travel to Temple/Belton frequently for work. I really enjoyed my stay here. Accommodations were exactly as described, and I loved being able to cook meals and have space to relax after a long day. Space was extremely clean and smelled amazing. It’s literally right across from UMHB and I felt safe taking a walk each evening on campus. Can’t wait to book again next time I am in the area. This will definitely be one of my go to places to stay.

Wonderful Cottage

This was the first house we lived in together as a married couple. We loved the character of the house and how close it was to the UMHB campus and downtown Belton.

Even though we are situated in the middle of Belton the backyard feels secluded and private. We are also only 10 min from the Expo Center, 15 min from downtown Salado, 2 min from UMHB, and 3 min from downtown Belton.
