Life is better at the beach - and this beautiful four-bedroom home in Dauphin Island is your ticket to prime beach living. Situated directly on the sand, you'll have paradise at your doorstep. The classic stilted home boasts a bright, spacious layout complete with colorful coastal design and updated amenities offering modern guest comfort. An expansive, covered deck comes furnished for outdoor living.

Sporting lofty ceilings and an open floor plan, the breezy living area welcomes at-home gatherings with friends and family. The island kitchen showcases gorgeous counters and a suite of sparkling, stainless steel appliances ready to handle homemade meals with ease. Grab a quick bite at the breakfast bar before hitting the beach and enjoy sit-down meals at the dining table set for eight. In-home essentials include central AC, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

For convenience and privacy, all four bedrooms include smart TVs and en suite bathrooms. Two Gulf-side bedrooms feature direct deck access.

Beautiful beachfront home with large rooms and fantastic deck with both sunrise and sunset views. Parking could be an issue for non-4 wheel drive cars due to deep sand at the property. Overall experience at this property was wonderful.

The Krakens Delight was Delightful!

We’ve rented a handful of beach homes on DI and this one was our favorite, hands-down! We loved the floor plan and beautiful deck with stunning views of the gulf. The proximity to the beach was absolute perfection. We loved the house so much that we hardly left! We ended up cooking most of our meals in the beautiful kitchen, which had everything we needed - and more. We also really loved the deck furniture and covered deck. We have found that a shaded deck and comfortable deck furniture are two of our top priorities when choosing a house to rent in DI, and these will be difficult to beat. I absolutely loved working with the rental agency Vacasa for this vacation. I had a few questions prior to our arrival and they were answered quickly and cheerfully. All of instructions and info we received from them was helpful and timely. We definitely will book through Vacasa again!

Oceanfront Beauty

Ocean front 4 bedroom 4 bath. Beautiful house. Kitchen was very well stocked. Only 1 dish towel and 2 small rolls of paper towels were provided bring your own or buy on the island. Front Deck was fabulous! We loved having a dining table outside to enjoy the view at meals. The A/C is a little tricky an we froze for a couple nights. Views were excellent but beachfront is small as water was up to the house during our stay. Overall great stay! loved

Location and privacy

The location of this home is superb. It’s a very quiet area with your own slice of beach. The house is set up well to allow privacy. However, there are roaches all over the house and even on the deck. At night we couldn’t enjoy the deck because all the roaches came out. It’s a shame because the house is very pretty and has so much potential. The furniture needs to be cleaned especially the white couch as it has what appears to be blood stains and there are a lot of spills that haven’t been cleaned up. I notified Vacasa immediately when we saw the roaches that included pictures. I was never able to speak to anyone via text, email or in person at the local office. Because of those things we ended up leaving early. We had high hopes but unfortunately we will not be back and hope that Vacasa takes care of the pest problem.

Krakens Delight - it was a delight!!!

We just spent 5 wonderful days in the Kraken Delight. The house has plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen was full stock with all of the dishes, pots/pans, coffee pot both a drip pot and a Keurig cup. The beds were comfortable. Large deck/balcony with beautiful views. We didn’t use our canopy, when we need shade under the house was a great place to hang out. The beach was great! You are just steps to the water. We will definitely book this house again!! Be sure to bring your beach chairs!

Blessed & Refreshed

OMgoodness! This place was amazing! We had 4 families join together for a family reunion vacation. We each had our own room with en-suite facilities! The family room & kitchen were huge. There were an abundance of board games to choose from, and a guaranteed sunrise & sunset view from the large deck. Beach access was right out our front door. A pod of dolphins swam by on our last day!! A perfect ending to a perfect stay!

So close the crashing waves interrupt conversations!

So close to the water!! No need to bring shade for the beach! Set up under the house. We brought an umbrella, sail shade and a beach tent and ended up shading under the house. We brought and hung hammocks too. Great place to nap on a rainy day. Home and deck are great.

The house right on the ocean is beautiful. The layout of the house is the best we’ve stayed in. The back deck is so large and enjoyable. We had a few issues that come with any rental, but it was great for our family. Bring extra trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry pods.

Wonderful stay

The house is beautiful and spacious. The access to the beach is great and not crowded at all. Each bedroom having its own bath was the cherry on top! The AC works great and there were additional blankets in the closets for use however they could certainly use a wash. Bring your own beach towels and chairs. The white couch in the living room could use a deep clean but overall a comfortable living space!

Beautiful oceanfront home!

This house is just lovely! The location is terrific and we enjoyed the views and being right on the water. The 4 bedrooms were perfect all with en-suite bathrooms and being separated from the main living area was great! We were very happy with our first visit to Dauphin island and would definitely choose this house again!

Awesome Place!

This is an Awesome Home! The layout is great - 4 suites with their own bathroom,and the bedrooms are away from the main area of the kitchen and living room which keeps the bedrooms quite. The Beds are very comfortable. The home was spotless. The cleanest Vrbo/Air B&B home we ever rented. There are new dishes/cups/pots in the home. And, they are really nice. The location is the best on the island. The home is right on the beach. Very quite location. Very pet friendly and my dog loved it there. The balcony is awesome and directly facing the Gulf. The management company is very professional. We will be back soon!

Wonderful stay

This property was everything it was advertised to be. Even the every day dolphin sightings. There is a need to repair some drawers and doors, but nothing that interfered with our enjoyable stay. Returning to this house is already in the works.
