Welcome to Mi Faro B, a charming duplex on Harkers Island! This newly updated retreat offers 1 cozy bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and a modern bathroom. The spacious living area features a sleeper sofa, perfect for extra guests. The unit features a convenient kitchenette ideal for preparing light meals and snacks. Located just steps away from the renowned Fishhook Restaurant, you can savor fresh seafood and local flavors with ease. Mi Faro, meaning "lighthouse," serves as your beacon of relaxation and adventure, with nearby attractions like Cape Lookout National Seashore and Shackleford Banks. Experience island life and create lasting memories at Mi Faro B.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

PET POLICY:
Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 1 dog maximum.
Airbnb guests: This fee is NOT included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to add this pet fee(s).
VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. If you are planning to bring more than one dog, please notify Spectrum Properties to add the additional pet fee(s).
Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.

-Parking is shared between the upstairs unit (A) and downstairs unit (B).
-Laundry is shared

Clean and comfortable.Few windows, so a little cave like, but the outdoor swing let me enjoybthe nice days. Kitchen is small, as pictured. I found a one burner hotplate in the cabinet, so i was able to do a little cooking. Still ate at the Fish Hook next door a few nughtsBed is very comfortable, and there are lots of drawers to unpack and stay organized. Didnt try the TV, but reading in the TV room was comfortable. Easy in and out.

Really liked the size and level of upkeep. Great location. Did not like the adjacent boat building warehouse which was damaged by tornado in 2024 but left unrepaired. Loose metal roof sheets threatening to blow loose dampened time outside. The adjacent restaurant is a major reason to stay here with great food and atmosphere. Love Harkers for a non-beach coastal environment with Cape Lookout and local museums of decoys and down east communities.

I stayed here for a week and found this small rental to be just perfect for one or two guests. Very laid-back area and easy to navigate.

COCKROACHES!!! My entire family thought this would be a quaint and quiet place to stay. We were dead wrong. After being there 3 nights, we realized we were sleeping with the roaches. We even called the property manager Spectrum Property who then went on to ask us about the number of legs and size of the species of the cockroach. I was then informed that it was certain subspecies of cockroach known as a waterbug and it was harmless. Harmless?? My ass! It was huge and there were several that were crawling on the back of my 2 year old's neck near bedtime. Nope, not staying here or can ever recommend this property or Spectrum Properties to anyone ever. Avoid this place!

Very satisfied!

This is a great place for someone who wants to enjoy the outdoors . Close to the water and the visitors center. Check in text message concerning codes and entry door was confusing and should be reworked . Besides that I enjoyed everything! Thank you.

Harkers island 2 person stay.

Property was nice and organized. It is not very large but we adapted. All items you need are there. Parking was great and it is close to everything you would want The TV with only Roku was not very friendly. Eliminate Roku and get plain cable. That would be much much better

Fishing trip

Accommodations great. Access to HI Fishing Center and was able to rent boat slip so I did not have to put boat back on trailer until I was checking out.

great stay everything u need for a quick getaway is close. small town feel everyone in the community is great and talkative. little pricey is the only thing I would change
