Great Place to Stay in East Vail

The condo is on the ground floor and walks out to an open area. The complex is located between two bus stops for the free Vail bus. Comfy beds, large sectional to spread out on.

Great place for family

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well stocked and had everything we needed for the most part. The bedroom with the queen is small but fine for a couple. The large closet in the bunk room was a great place to layout suitcases. We really enjoyed the scenery and easy access to Gore Creek trail. Vacasa attendant was responsive to any needs.

The property was good. The building is a little old and the apartment can use a kitchen upgrade. Overal worked for a short stay. Affordable and in a good location.

Condo was exactly as seen in pictures. We appreciated the outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing. The location on the bus route was convenient. It drops off right at the Vail Transportation Center. The small grocery store on the property offered a wide selection of items and fresh coffee. The complex was clean and quiet.

Quick weekend trip to Vail

The property was just as the picture showed, redone and very clean. We never found a parking pass and called for help and no one brought one as promised. Sink in bunk bed bathroom doesn’t drain well.

NO PARKING PASSES left for us in condo

Overall we loved our stay. House was clean and lovely. Was just disappointed no parking passes were left. This is unacceptable. Vail does not have much parking so without a pass you run a BIG risk of being towed or booted.

Ski Chalet East Vail

We enjoyed the location, easy access to this ground floor unit and amenities. I would highly recommend this property for your Vail summer or winter stay. We were here for a ski trip and loved the easy walk to the Free shuttle stop near this property. We rode the bus every day and saved ourselves any parking costs at the mountain. It’s easy and runs every 15 min all day! The 2bd 2ba was ample space for 2 of us & the largest washer/dryer I’ve e ever seen in a rental! While the kitchen cabinets are in desperate need of an update & no ‘real’ parking pass was evident, Id still give this property a 5 stars. The bathrooms were updated and the best & ample supply of towels were a bonus. Definitely would rent again! Thanks Vacasa!

Place was clean but check in process was not super organized.

I think having a binder with your check in and check out information, along with codes for the pool. Amenities, bus route and helpful information could be a great accommodation when walking into a property. We don't love to be on our phones in the mountains, often reception isn't the greatest. A handy binder is nice! The pool was not heated. It was freezing. We asked specifically as we were considering a hotel for the kids vs a vrbo. Be honest, especially for families who have kids

Okay spot in East Vail.

Pros: Nice location. It was convenient having the market nearby and being in close proximity to bus stops. Also, nice having a ground floor unit. Fairly spacious main living area with oversized sectional couch and plenty of seating. Cons: pretty dated. Main bed was really firm. The shower was very tight and had to duck to enter. The light in the dining area was very funky. We had assumed it didn’t work and even contacted Vacasa to see if there was a trick to it. The second day we accidentally discovered that the main switch to that light it located in the kitchen and it must be on for the switch at the entry to work. Also, no parking permits were left and despite contacting Vacasa twice, we were never provided any. This is unacceptable. We left a note providing our unit and phone in case there was an issue with the car.
