You can’t stay any closer to the river because it is no longer allowed. Modern Rustic year-round cabin on the edge of Thompson River just minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. Fish steps from your front door.

Imagine waking up in the morning to the gentle sound of a river in front of your cabin while the sun shines through the pine trees and the wind serenades your arrival in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Open a bottle, sink into the hot tub and enjoy the river dancing in front of you. Welcome to “Rainbow” ...

This updated modern rustic cabin has a master bedroom with a queen bed that will sleep 2 comfortably. Enjoy your own private hot tub in front of your cabin, fire pit, amazing views of the river, pine trees, and wildlife. Wi-Fi, Direc-TV, Roku, Keurig coffee maker and a fully stocked kitchen. Fish right in front of your cabin, BBQ, shoot darts, or challenge your loved one to an epic game of corn-hole on our grounds.

Rainbow is part of River Spruce Cabins, an intimate 10 cabin resort on the Thompson River where you can fish in front of your cabin, relax in your hot tub with a glass of wine while overlooking the river or toast s'mores in front of your fire pit. We go out of our way to make sure you have a complete experience with modern amenities and tasteful décor.

We are a fully automated resort, so you will not have to wait in line to check-in, fumble with keys, or check-out. Everything is simple and included like linens, towels, cookware, condiments and toiletries.

Beautiful location!

We really enjoyed the location facing the creek and woods on the other side. It’s just minutes from both the YMCA facility and the national park, and we took advantage of both. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This place was so beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. I was actually stunned at the fact that it was even more beautiful than the pictures indicated. The property management was extremely helpful and answered our questions promptly. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay for a week or more! Five Stars! Will book again!

Perfect cabin getaway

Such a great little spot literally on the river. Cozy and rustic cabin is well appointed and as described online. Property manager is super nice and just a text away if you need anything. Entire property is well maintained. Loved just sitting by the river every morning and night. Great location in Estes Park. Will be back!

Great and cozy cabin

Accurately portrayed on Vrbo. Good deal for the price. Not luxurious but just right for us. Would gladly return if the occasion for RMNP hiking recurs.

Perfect

The cabin was beautiful. Listening to the river right outside the door was relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub after a long hike was just what we needed. Secluded but yet close to the conveniences of food and shopping. Close to the park!

This is not breath-taking. The Rainbow cabin is worn down, small, old, and kind of dirty. The carpet is decades old, stained, vacuumed but dirty. The windows are dirty. The hot tub was cloudy and had an old smell. I didn’t use it. The bedroom window lock was broken and left the place vulnerable for a break-in. The river was nice and the staff was super nice, but they way overcharge, and it’s not worth it. They charge a lot for cleaning. The place did not feel that clean for that cost. I came home early.Better to stay somewhere really nice, then go hang out by the river in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
