NEW Surfrider Bungalow - walk to downtown and the beach!


Welcome home to your Ventura beach bungalow! This adorable 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been remodeled with comfort in mind. Come enjoy the open living room with giant couch, large thoughtfully furnished kitchen, and fenced front and back yards. The Surfrider bungalow is a perfect escape for couples, small families, or a getaway with friends. ***Sadly we are now a pet free home.

EV charging is available in the driveway with a 220V NEMA 14-50 outlet.


Location, location, location! Leave your car in the driveway as you explore Ventura on foot. You will be a short 3-5 minute walk to pizza, morning coffee, breweries and more. Multiple beaches, the Ventura pier, dozens of downtown restaurants, and many great shops are all less than a mile away.

Prefer to drive? No problem! Grab our boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and foam surfboard and take a short 2-3 minute drive to start your beach day.

Complete your days back at home with two well appointed bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king sized bed, split unit AC, and a TV equipped with Netflix and an Apple TV. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed as well as another Samsung TV. Relax on the back deck while you BBQ and take in the amazing Ventura weather or sprawl out on the giant couch for a game night in.

There are two twin sized trifold floor mattresses available for sleeping as well - these are best suited for kids as adults would likely find them a bit narrow.

Good location and a home with all the amenities one needs for comfortable stay. We had a couple of questions and our hosts were very quick with a response. Very quiet neighborhood. Not a peep from anywhere after dark. We enjoyed the sunny front porch in the morning.

The house is a beautiful updated home in with a great location. Quiet neighborhood, tons of household and kitchen items for you to use such as towels for the shower and beach! Kitchen ware available to cook at home.

Highly Recommended

Private, clean, and beautifully appointed house with fenced front and back yards. The market, coffee place, park, pier, and Main Street are within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home. The bed was very comfy although hard for husband to shimmy into as no room on one side of bed. Very clean and inviting within the individual property. The surrounding properties were not. We didn’t feel safe taking a walk after dark. There was even a guy across the street who was yelling at no one on and off for about 2 hours.

Perfect Ventura bungalow

We knew the location of this place would be perfect because we previously lived in Ventura so we knew the area - and we were so happy with this house! Walk to downtown and the beach within minutes and the house was immaculate and adorable! Kara was super helpful with any questions and we absolutely loved our stay here! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very updated and clean. Great location and kitchen was well stocked. TV in all rooms. Had beach chairs, towels and umbrella! Very dog friendly with front and back fenced yards, bowls, blankets and treats.

Great location & host communication

We had a very nice stay - the property was super clean and comfortable with a location that was convenient. We had close access to both the beach and the local downtown area depending on if we wanted to walk or opt for a short drive. The hosts were incredibly communicative and proactive with everything we needed as well!

Adorable Beach House

Charming craftsman beach house beautifully updated! Sparkling clean and nicely equipped, this house is conveniently located to the beach, downtown, and near lots of fun activities. Great coffee shop on the corner. Set up nicely for kids, dogs and beach days. We would all love to stay here again!

Beautiful House

This is an amazing property with even better owners. They were welcoming, communicated excellently and answered any questions we had. The house was clean and even had an information book with great recommendations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. .

Perfect location and amazing cottage

We usually stay in the Pierpont neighborhood but opted for something different. Loved the house and yards. Close to all our favorite spots for eating (all within walking distance and near Main Street too) plus just a quick 3 minute drive to the beach with free parking under the highway. Kara was super quick to respond to any questions. Looking forward to staying again!

Perfect beach getaway

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you need is available in the house
dishes, cleaning supplies, towels, beach gear, cooking supplies, etc. Everything is nearby
many beaches, restaurants and shops, scenic views, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Ojai, markets, etc. Kara responds quickly to any questions. We can’t wait to visit again.
