Entire Birch Cottage on the large lot next to the Ocean View Park.

This small private house is just a perfect getaway for a family of 2 to 4 adults and up to 2 children. There is a long driveway that can accommodate an RV if needed. This house has its own kitchen on the main floor, family room is downstairs, laundry room is in the basement, and upstairs is an open concept bedroom with the loft and a comfortable queen bed that would offer much-needed rest after exploring the Alaskan outdoors. Cornhole and badminton games (in the shed) are the perfect opportunities to play in the large, grassed yard, or maybe just kick back and rest on the outdoor chairs, that you’ll find in the shed while admiring Alaskan beauty. Ocean View park is just around the corner where tennis courts, children’s park with zip line, BBQ area in the pavilion. Take a short walk in the park and admire ocean views.

Our host Olia, was wonderful. Great communication, friendly. Her place was very clean. The kitchen had dishes, pots and pans, utensils.. , everything you would need if you chose to cook. Great location in south Anchorage, easy access to anything you might want or need to do. Driveway and walkway were plowed for easy entrance. We would definitely recommend Olia's place and would love to stay there again should the need arise.

Property is perfectly located near Old Seward Hwy in So Anchorage. It is clean, has allThe amenities we expected, and is quiet. Perfect for our visit with family and convenient to Carrs, Kaladi Coffee, Uncle Joes, and whatever you’ll need. The owner went above and beyond her obligations when she helpedus out early the morning we left. She made us feel so well taken care of.

The house was PERFECT for what my husband and I needed. The bed is incredibly comfy, the kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware, utensils and amenities needed to feel right at home. The house was perfectly described as the listing shows and Olia was the perfect hostess

answering any questions we had. The house is close to restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies as well as an easy commute to the airport. My husband and I plan to return to Alaska next year and will definitely be staying here again!!

Amazing weekend in Anchorage

Three of us came to town for a wedding over weekend. The property was perfect for our needs and was equipped with everything we needed. The area was very quite and very safe. Olia was super responsive and accommodating as well. I’d absolutely stay here again when visiting Anchorage!

Beautiful Cottage

We loved our time in the Birch Cottage! Communication with owner was timely and pleasant. My daughter (9) loved sleeping in the loft area above the bedroom. Beautifully furnished with everything provided from dishes to appliances. It was the perfect anchor location for our travels in town and south along Kenai Peninsula. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great Little Home

This house was such a fun, comfortable experience for our family of 4. There was plenty of storage if you are staying for extended periods like we did. The house is also very well stocked--it has everything you would need plus refills/extras! The property is amazing with a huge grass yard. We loved playing outside. It's also just down the road from a fun park. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood and all-around great location. You will love it here!

Cozy and Convenient

Olia was a superb hostess. She did a phenomenal job with the interior decorating. Cozy warm private place. Close to markets, bars, restaurants and Ted Stevens Int'l Airport. Easy commute to all the top restaurants and shopping. Olia made sure I had everything I need. She is super responsive. If you're staying in Anchorage..I highly recommend staying at Olia's place on your next visit to Anchorage.

Our stay at the cottage we saw the Aurora Borealis

We loved our stay in Anchorage. Very safe neighborhood. We stood outside at 1am to see the Aurora Borealis for one hour in 18 degree weather. Felt totally safe. A police car drove by. We had everything we needed in the cottage. Loads of snow when we arrived and melted quite a bit by the time we left. Near good restaurants and hiking. Really good communication too!!! Many thanks!!

Lovely little cottage

We had a great stay at the cottage. It was out of the city center which we prefer but a quick 10-15 minute to downtown and about the same to the airport. Very quick to get in to Anchorage and also great location for heading to Seward and the attractions that way. The arrangements were great for our little family of 4. If my kids had been any older or I had any more with me, I would have wanted another bathroom. The cottage was clean and had all of the necessities. The washer and dryer was a huge plus for the property. Olia was available if we had any questions but left us alone to enjoy our trip. Overall a great stay.

Week at the cottage

Very nice place. Owners very accommodating, got us in early, and in the middle of the night. Place was clean, supplied with towels, coffee, kitchen gear, clean bedding. Nice safe neighborhood. Grocery store nearby. Good breakfast cafe within 1 mile. Close to freeway access. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed

These property owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even stayed up late to let us in after our arrival flight was delayed!
