Our house is located in Bear Paw, a gated community on Lake Hiawassee, in southwestern North Carolina. It is 8.2 miles from downtown Murphy. Amenities in Bear Paw include, swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, playground, small child’s fishing pond.
Mountain View Marina is located inside Bear Paw and is short drive from the cabin.
The marina will rent boats kayaks,paddle boats, pontoon boats to enjoy Lake Hiawassee !

THE SPACE
Our cabin sleeps 8 and offers 3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. There is 2600 square feet of living space and another 800 square feet of decks and screened porches.
The master suite is located on the main level and features a queen size bed and a private bath with a hot jet tub and stand up shower. Also on this floor is an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. Our kitchen contains your basic needs with counter space for 3, as well as a dining room table for 6. Upstairs you will find a screened in patio, full bath, loft and a queen size bedroom. On the lower level there is a bedroom with 2 queen size beds ,full bath and living room with a gas fireplace. On both main and lower level you will find covered deck with plenty of seating space. The main level deck will have an outdoor table for six, wood fire pit and a gas grill BBQ .

You will have access to the whole cabin, WiFi and community amenities.
Our detailed directions will be sent you along with your door code before your visit. As you enter the community, you will need to register with the gate attendant. Inside the cabin you will also find a binder of the house manual, helpful information about the cabin and things you can do around us.

Visit to Murphy Area

Very nice home! We had a very comfortable stay. May we offer a couple of improvements to the online description and notebook information? Property is 35 minutes from downtown Murphy, not 20 minutes. We followed checkout instructions to leave garbage at a dumpster. There are no longer any dumpsters in the community. The refrigerator has an off-putting smell that needs to be addressed.

We had a great time staying at this house. There was lots of room for everyone to spread out with the 3 levels. Loved having coffee on the back deck in the morning

The place was beautiful.

The place was more Beautiful than the pictures on the website. It was very clean, we felt that we were actually home. It had everything we needed. Will definitely come back and stay at the same spot.

Post Xmas Getaway

My friends and I enjoyed this place. The mountain views were great, the area was super quiet, the home had all of the amenities we needed, and our lovely hosts were super responsive throughout the trip. We definitely felt at home here. The energy of the home was warm and inviting, and the beds were super comfy! There wasn't a space in the place where one couldn't find relaxation.

This is where you want to stay!

We made a last-minute decision to go to the mountains and have been in Bear paw before and fell in love with it so when this rental was available we scooped it up. The house was perfect and had everything you need while there. The community is awesome. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. The home was easily accessible and our large SUV. We really didn’t want to leave and hope to go back to this cabin over the summer!

Beautiful and Accomidating

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The house was well kept, the driveway was large and tucked off the street, the view was pretty, the beds and pillows were perfect, and the communication was above par. We will 100% be back.
