Welcome to the Grizzly Den, an older mobile home located on a quiet residential street in beautiful Hungry Horse MT. This place was built in the 1970’s so it’s not perfect but it’s clean, affordable and only 10 miles to GNP! What more can the budget conscious traveler ask for?! Come home after a day of hiking to relax and cook up a burger on the BBQ. Two bedroom, full bath with kitchen. Comfy beds, soft sheets and pillows. Stocked with tea, coffee and basic spices. We also supply bear spray for your convenience. TV with DVD player but no cable. WIFI is available. Verizon and AT&T should get decent service.

The only thing on cleanliness was the porch to the firepit. Otherwise everything was clean. The location was great for the West Glacier entrance, places to eat and groceries.

The hosts could not have been more accommodating, check in and check out was very smooth. Big, fluffy towels were a great way to clean up after a day of hiking/biking/off-roading. We had a lovely visit to Glacier in the fall, thanks!

Great place to stay if you’re visiting GNP! Clean, well stocked with what we needed, close to West entrance of GNP to beat the crowds and enjoy park later in day as well, and host is great (very responsive and wants you to have a memorable experience)!

Great Glacier Getaway

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Grizzly Den during our visit to the west side of GNP. It was super close and convenient to the park. Around 20ish minutes to the entrance. We had everything we needed and would recommend to anyone.

Glacier NP trip

This place was wonderful! It was clean and spacious for our family of 3 and the kitchen was well stocked which made eating in a few nights a great option! Location is close to West Entrance to Glacier National Park which was very convenient. I would recommend and would stay again. Thanks!

Cozy and convenient

Convenient for trips to Glacier National Park. Thoughtful touches provided, from fluffy towels, nice toiletries, coffee/tea, and a well-stocked kitchen, to bear spray. We enjoyed our stay.

Spot on

Great location and easy to find. Nice neighborhood and close to shops and Glacier. Kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom had fabulous towels. Grill worked well. The place felt like home and we had a wonderful stay.

Perfect for the Park

Great place to stay near West Glacier park entrance. Splits the difference between the park and whitefish, so it’s extremely convenient location. The place is super cozy, spacious and full of all the stuff you would need to make yourself at home in between your adventures. Thanks Lacota, we hope to return some time.

Great stay!

This is a great little spot. It’s not fancy, but it is 12 minutes from Glacier and it gets the job done. Host and property manager were great to work with, and we felt right at home.

This place was very nice and clean. About 1 block off the main road in Hungry Horse. Some road noise. About 10-15 minutes from west Glacier. We would definitely stay here again. Close to Carolyn's Cafe. 5 star breakfast cafe

Glacier getaway

We had such a wonderful experience at Lacota’s place. It is an understatement to say the kitchen was well stocked, it had anything we needed to cook with. The beds were comfortable and so were the living room furniture. Highly recommend.
