This property has many positive aspects and overall we felt it was OK thus 3 stars. THe location is quiet and in a central part of Missoula very close to Bonner park. The house itself is well stocked with consumables and it's clear from looking at the Zillow pics from when the house was sold recently that the owner has done considerable renovations. On the other side of the ledger, the front and back yard were in need a of a bit of clean up when we arrived with downed branches and lots of leaves including all over the front porch. The house is quite old (1899) and despite the renovations, the interior layout is a bit odd, which is not totally unusual for older homes (we lived for 14 years in a 1926 Tudor in Seattle). The first floor bathroom is very small. The second floor bathroom is quite a bit larger but the corner shower stall is very tight and the water pressure anemic. The washer and dryer are both in the basement down a set of very steep and narrow stairs. Cleaning of the house could use more attention as the rug in the living room was spotted and quite dirty. Cooking was a bit challenging as there is no oven hood or exhaust and the pots and pans have seen better days with uneven surfaces that don't lie flat on the stove. Finally,The thermostat was very annoying as it would switch to default temps (lower) several times per day and despite asking the management company to change it, they were unsuccessful in getting it fixed (issue with wifi connectivity I think
