Anniversary Get Away...

This was a lovely stay! The wife and I just wanted to get out for a few days with no real plans. We've been to Lake Texoma before, so we knew what was around. The tiny house was the perfect base of operations for this kind of trip. LOL. It was great, the deck, and outdoor seating was just perfect. The kitchen inside had everything we needed, and overall was just a great stay! We loved it!

Adorable, Impeccable, Affordable!

I rented this getaway to do some studying online, writing, and business planning. The cottage itself could not have been more adorable. It was reasonably priced, and clean as a whistle. If I had my druthers, I would make it a little wider and shave off some of the space on the deck, which was absolutely beautiful!! I was so tickled the first night when I was looking out the window, and the deck lights just flipped on! It was comfortably warm inside at all times, and everything worked perfectly. The amenities offered from shampoo, body wash, towels, and appliances were in tiptop shape, brand new. Everything I needed was right where I thought it would be!! On top of all that Michelle & Scott were immediately responsive to any questions or comments, including prior to my arrival!! I would highly recommend a stay at Stargazer Cottage! I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Michelle, Scott and VRBO!! It was just what I needed.

Clean and quiet tiny home

Our stay was very relaxing. The neighborhood is so quiet, and the property so peaceful, that we spent almost the entire weekend outside on the large covered back porch. We drank coffee by the gas fire table and watched the deer in the early morning, watched football and napped on the comfy outdoor furniture in the afternoon, and roasted marshmallows by the fire pit in the evening. The inside of the cabin was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and we appreciated the small extra touches, like the smores and the coffee station. The bathroom is itty bitty but it worked perfectly for just a couple nights, and the water was nice and hot. We drove to the nearby marina (0.9 miles) to buy cold beverages and then later went back to watch the sun set over the lake and had dinner at the Anchor N Restaurant. Overall, Stargazer Cottage was the perfect spot for a nice relaxing weekend! Highly recommend. Communication prior to arrival and during the stay from the owner was great.

Was really clean and deck was great. Kinda small but neat. Not really secluded though. Loft was really cool with the electric fireplace. A real nice place for 2 people for a weekend trip to get away

My husband grew up fishing at Lake Texoma and had so many wonderful memories of his adventures here. All those stories inspired us to buy a place of our own about 10 years ago to continue making memories with our family. This place has been our own personal escape from our busy lives in the city and we have loved bringing the kids up on the weekends to enjoy boating, tubing, fishing, and just relaxing by the campfire looking up and the never-ending stars. We added the tiny home so others could come and experience our little paradise and make memories of their own.
