Bring your boat we are 2 miles from the Intracoastal and 10 miles to the Santee River. There is a fish cleaning shed on site with power and water.
If you are looking for a peaceful get away this place is for you.

Outdoor adventurers will love the proximity to Francis Marion National Forest, and South Tibwin Hiking Trail is just a mile away yet still within driving distance to Georgetown and Charleston.

Trip to Charleston area

We stayed here with our grandson because it was close to the Center for Birds of Prey and the Bull's Island Ferry. Love the privacy. The cottage had everything we needed.

We enjoyed a week at this Peaceful Place. It was close to several enjoyable wildlife refuges plus Brookgreen Gardens was an easy drive up the road. We liked the seclusion away from traffic noise and the house is great.

What a find!

We loved the place. Our hosts were great and the place is awesome for relaxing and unwinding. There was plenty of space for the boat and all our stuff. The cats are lovely and will happily welcome you home after a day out exploring.

Just have to say how peaceful this place was. The property was beautiful and the cats were awesome!! We will definitely stay here again. The house was so cozy and made us feel right at home.

Booked here to visit friends in town for a couple days. Great location. Very peaceful except a couple of adorable cats (who like to be fed). Woke up to horses out the window. Will be staying again on future visits!

Perfect paceful stay and hosts

The place was nice and relaxing just as shown on pictures. The horses were there and two cats were there and the house and outdoors were amazing.The hosts were very responsive, polite and accomodating. It is a perfect location for a relaxing vacation. This was a very nice place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed having Cali and Trouble around and seeing the horses and the donkey. We would stay there again. For a place to just relax and get away this is it. They had everything we needed.

Weekend Getaway!

The Love Shack was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The view of the pond, horses, and occasional doe were amazing. Trouble and Cali were so sweet, helping us miss our own fur babies a little less. We will definitely be returning!

A peaceful getaway

The home was very comfortable and the wrap around porch very inviting and pleasant for outside seating. It was wonderful to look on to horses in their pastures and to enjoy the quiet of the space. It's also convenient to McClellanville and Hampton and Hopsewee Plantations, which are worth touring.

We had a Great time. It was just my husband and I except for being joined by my sister and her husband for a few days. It was very quiet and peaceful ,and we had plenty of room for the four of us .There were deer in the yard most mornings and the sweetest cat, Trouble. that hung around most of the time. Check out SEWEE restaurant for incredible seafood, and the McClellanville diner for their awesome grilled crab cakes .We got to chat with Jimmy (the owner) several, times and he was very nice and pleasant to talk with. I would not hesitate to recommend this very relaxing retreat. Their horses were fun to interact with also .Gloria and John

Very peaceful and quite. Beautiful property easy access, no noise at all. Cat climbing the window screen the first night made me jump but just closed the blinds and they stopped.
