We booked this property because it is on the same lake as our family cabin and we needed extra space for a large family gathering. The house was lovely and not only met our needs, but also provided periodic respite from the large family chaos that was happening across the lake. Derek was very easy to work with through an itinerary change before our stay, and other small needs during the stay. The home had everything we needed for a two-week stay. Check-out instructions were clear and simple.The listing shows the property can sleep 12, but we didn't think we could fit that many. We had 8 at the peak usage and were able to get by with the existing beds & couches. Any more and I think we would have needed a blow-up mattress. Check with the host first if you have that many people to confirm how the configuration would work.Overall we really enjoyed the tranquility and comfort of the home and were grateful to stay there.

We had a wonderful time staying in Maple Haven! It is a beautiful house located right on the lake. It had absolutely everything we needed for both living and outside play. The place was well kept and maintained and a very comfortable stay!

Wedding week

This was an awesome house!! Perfect kitchen for making cake, rolls and rehearsal dinner food!! "Best fishin" off the dock my husband said! The owner was super friendly and accomodating! We will definitely be back!!

4th of July Weekend

This well kept property is tucked in nicely along the shores of the locally infamous Maple Lake. Stocked with thoughtful and quality amenities we had everything needed.The lake shore water is weedy and not enjoyable to swim. I understand that regulations do not allow removal of weeds but I wish I would have known to expect a non-swimmable area. The fireworks on and around the lake were amazing and fun to watch all weekend. The owner's communication was prompt and professional. The description states it sleeps 6-12. There are three beds and although there are sofas and floor space, this property is set up to sleep 6.

Maple Haven review

Stayed 11 nights and it was hard to leave because it is a beautiful, spacious home. It seemed to us that the place sleeps 9 or 10, not 12 as advertised, but that worked for us as there was room for our blow up mattress. The property has a nice front yard for outdoor games and very nice sand beach in the backyard.

Great Lake Home!

This lake home was perfect for our family! The inside was clean and very modern. Our boat was on the dock right off the house, so we could conveniently go for rides on the lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here!

The house is absolutely gorgeous, very well taken care of, decorated so cute, very comfortable! Gorgeous view of the lake, nice Sandy beach. A great place to make memories! 2nd year staying at Maple Haven, and will definitely book again next year.

Maple Haven

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at Maple Haven. It was a beautiful house. We brought our boat and enjoyed fishing, tubing, skiing and just tooling around the lake. It was during the week so the lane was quiet and it was so peaceful! Definitely a great place to stay! Just make sure to bring bottled water if you don’t like the mineral taste of well water. It was an easy fix for us though with the store just a couple miles away! Wonderful vacation for our extended family of 8. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!!

Family Fun

We were so happy to find a place on the lake while visiting family! It gave our kids a chance to experience a tiny bit of what summers were like for me while growing up in Northern MN☺️. We all had an amazing time and look forward to coming back next year!
