The Great Buckel Lodge

Buckel Lodge is a 4,000sq ft Shouse you must see! It is located on the edge of town, within walking distance from downtown Burwell, swimming pool, park, river and just 7 miles to Calamus Lake! Our Lodge sleeps 15 people! With 5 bedrooms (6 queen beds) and a kid's room area in back with a full bunk and twin on top. Seating for 24 guests! Two Large living spaces with plenty of room to enjoy family! Each room is themed (Bear Room, Wolf Room, Steed Room, Cervidae, and Buffalo Room). Shuffle board coming soon to back bar room!

Our family had a wonderful time in the lodge! Not only is the lodge beautiful, but it was also well stocked and had all of the conveniences of home. The beds were soooo comfortable too!

Very nice place with plenty of room for us all. Shuffleboard table and games were a blast too. Very responsive hosts. Lots to do in the area.

Family vacation

There for the weekend. Perfect location for Calamus. Burwell is very friendly neat community. Everything worked in the lodge, manager communicated very well, clean, cozy, lots of games and activities for everyone. Highly recommend.

Awesome Facility

This place had an amazing setup for a large group of people. Literally all you need to bring is your clothes and food because they have EVERYTHING you need there! It’s just a couple blocks from downtown and from a nice park, public pool, and river.

Perfect Weekend

We originally rented this property as spill over of family in town for a High School Graduation, we ended up holding the graduation reception at this site and it worked perfectly! A ton of room, we were able to put the grandkids in the back half to play and have fun while we held a reception up front. All in all, I would highly recommend this facility to any group wanting to enjoy our area. Thank you to the Host for helping us to have a memorable weekend.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

The Great Buckel Lodge was perfect for our group of 14! From the spacious house, cleanliness, location, large bedrooms, and comfy beds, the Lodge exceeded our expectations! The kitchen has everything you will need! It was so nice to come back to a comfortable place to land after a full day at the lake. It was a pleasure working with Cindy! We've had many family vacations; and this VRBO made this trip the best yet! We will be back!

Better than expected!

This home exceeded our expectations. We had three family’s staying overnight and around 30-40 people gathering for meals and celebrations. From infant to 90 years old this space accommodated everyone. Very clean and adorably decorated. Plenty of seating. Separate living spaces for adults and kids was setup perfect. The bedrooms were spacious and mattresses, pillows and linens super comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need along with the rest of the house with games, blankets, pillows, extra linens, plush bath towels, air mattresses, fans, etc. They thought of just about everything. Owner was readily available. Could not say enough good things! Was even able to enjoy the new outdoor patio which was such a great addition. Will definitely book again and highly recommend if you’re considering!!
