Named after the large number of deer that frequent this home, you will love Whitetail Lodge! Imagine being within minutes of everything and not needing to leave the town for your entire trip. Walking distance to beautiful Lake Harmony and 2 minute drive to several excellent restaurants with great sunset views Two Queens, 2 Full, and a twin daybed in the loft. Open concept living, dining, and kitchen. Enjoy the scenic view and watch deer from the screened porch.

We are available to answer your questions. Just send us a message on the platform after booking confirmed. In addition, every guest receives a digital guidebook for this property and it's JAM PACKED with info on where to eat, where to shop, things to do, etc. We provide so much more than just a home to stay in for a few days.

Live in this home like a local! Experience what it is like to own a mountain/lake getaway. The location is quiet in general with local restaurants and night life. There is even a night club locally, Boomers, located at Shenanigans which is a quick (less than 5 minute) drive down the road.

There is plenty of parking in the private driveway. Most activities within Lake Harmony, while close, still require a short drive. For example, Shenanigans (a favorite restaurant/bar of ours) is less than 5 minutes by car.

Our special place is close to everything for your Poconos visit! Make memories at our unique Mountain & Lake Home. Short walk into lake harmony beach, and an indoor waterpark & pools 2 minutes away! Golf course 4 minutes away. Skiing in only 7 minutes! Enjoy a private hot tub, a covered, screened porch, large second porch with additional seating, grilling, large outdoor dining & large fire pit area!

Sheets and towels are provided. There are TVs in every bedroom as well as the living room. There is no cable, however every TV is "smart" so guests may log into their own Netflix, HULU, Prime, etc.

No events, parties, or large gatherings
Primary renter must be 25 or older; no groups of young adults under 25 yrs. old
There is a pet fee if guest chooses to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. If this is not charged at time of booking, is charged shortly after booking is confirmed.

Your safety and the well-being of our home are of utmost importance. We have exterior security cameras for added security.

Great Trip

The house was just as described and very clean! It rained a lot, so we did not get to enjoy the lake as planned as much as we would have liked. However, we found lots for other things to do! We loved the butterfly place, boulder field, hiking, and Jim Thorpe. Everything was very close by! We would definitely go back!

Perfect End of Summer Get Away

We had a fun weekend with most of our family. Plenty to do around the area. The house was perfect for us and we would definitely love to come back soon. We’d love to come back when the leaves change colors and again to go skiing/snowboarding.

Great Time

Great Fun family weekend! We will be back!

Such a great house and location. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable, even on a rainy weekend. Gail was very easy to communicate with from the start and the process was smooth sailing. Clean and Comfortable

Process was simple from start to finish. Gail was wonderful communicating everything we needed to know and the property is beautiful. Very clean and in a nice quiet area of Lake Harmony. This house is a big scam. I walked more than 5 hours to spend the 4th of July with my family. I paid everything correctly and when I arrived at the house it was a scam. I contacted the owner and called him and he was extremely abusive to me. He simply rented the same house to several people. I called the police and made the report but I didn't get my money back.

Stop looking and book Moonhill Cabin!

Stayed for 3 nights and this home is amazing! Very fashionably remodeled with higher end appliances and tasteful decor. It was outfitted perfectly with everything you could need including linens and even bath products. And everything was spotless. The Locust Lakes community is beautiful and very well maintained and managed. Office staff was friendly, check in was quick and easy, and we saw security driving around several times which gave added peace of mind. You can walk to Locust lake beach and the others were a very short (<5 mins) drive We saw tons of deer, chipmunks and wild turkeys.

AMAZING HOME!

This home is meticulously maintained, with modern furnishings and appliances throughout. It comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults, and we appreciated the provision of clean sheets and towels. Gail, the property manager, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The location in a quiet neighborhood was ideal, just a few blocks from the beach/lake. They supply ample beach passes and we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the clean lake. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, perfect for cool mornings and chilly evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We also appreciated the convenience of the washer and dryer. The screened-in porch was a lovely spot to start the day with a cup of coffee. You will not be disappointed staying here! Overall, we were 100% satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning next year.

Magical Lake Cabin

I came to Lake Harmony for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. My overall experience from booking to checking out was absolutely flawless and Gail was responsive (within the hour). We were upgraded to early check in with out charge which was perfect because we had a 3 hour drive from NY. Driving up to the cabin with the snow on the ground was magical and looked like a winter wonderland. The pictures honestly don’t do this home justice. Everything was in pristine condition even the appliances were brand new. Linen and towels were new and left out for every person. Gail also allowed us to use the homes cookware for our meals which they have a variety of pots and pans to choose from. The home is very cozy and what you envision when you think of drinking hot coco under a warm fire. I would recommend that you bring slippers and warm socks while lighting the fireplace to make it even cozier. While in town we also visited the local restaurant/ bar shenanigans which was one of the recommendations from the owners (we had a wonderful time). If you ask they are informative and Knowledgeable about local food & activities to do while in town. Our stay was made more perfect while being there when a snow storm came down and we got to live like the locals Gail said. Neighbors and friends of the owners were nice enough to plow the driveway out for us and even put down salt. In all I would definitely recommend anybody booking this home, and I can’t wait to rebook for the warmer months. Thank you again Gail !

Great place to stay in the summer. Already talking about coming back up for the snowy winter to go skiing and snowboarding. Awesome time. Just know, walking to the lake is a bit longer then you think as you have to follow the twisty road up and down. But not far

Cozy house in a fantastic location!

We got so lucky finding this house in the Lake Harmony area! We were offered early check in, it was super easy checking in and the house was just like in the photographs. All the towels and linens seemed brand new and clean and the fireplace was the best thing! It was so wonderful to gather around the fire after skiing all day and our kids loved it! There was also everything we needed already there including soaps, shampoo, conditioner, paper goods, detergents, etc which made it super convenient! We truly enjoyed our stay!

First vrbo weekend experience!

Such a great place! The house was beautiful and and great place to relax for the weekend. The fireplace really made the place cozy. Super clean and well taken care of. Also, a great location in lake harmony. Saw some deer really close in the backyard too, which was cool! The owner was so quick to answer questions about the place and made the experience nice and easy, especially since it was my first time ever renting a place on vrbo. Definitely will be renting again!
