The cabin was rustic and cozy. The overall property was peaceful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch away from the hubbub of the city. The only negative were the train horns on the nearby tracks but we got used to it. Great location for a quiet getaway!

If you are looking for a place of rest and relaxation then this is the place. The cabin is stocked with supplies and is wonderfully and comfortably furnished. The beds are extremely comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this is one that we would repeat.

The cabin was cute, very clean, and comfortable. The setting and outdoor seating area was lovely and private. For us, it was a big let-down that the stream / pond was bone dry, as it was a reason we chose this property. This is the only reason we give it 4 stars.

Perfect cabin hidden away

This place was perfect and close to the wedding venue. The fire/bbq pit was perfect for after working an all day to wind down and relax. Definitely will book again!

Really enjoyed the cabin. I spoke with the landlord with a question and they responded very quickly. Caught and released about 10 bass from the pier in the evenings. We spent the days visiting the area’s painted churches and looking at the beautiful countryside. The only thing I would add to a list of normal things to bring would be extension cords or a power strip if you have a CPAP or need other things requiring power in the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with pots pans and utensils. I would urge you to sit on the porch in early morning and evenings and watch the birds. We would definitely return to this cabin if we are in the area again!Again, owners were very responsive when asked questions but other than that left us to ourselves! Great place to relax!

Beautiful Property and Cozy Cabin!

The property is beautiful with so many trees. We loved sitting on the porch and patio area to enjoy the view. The cabin was perfect for us and the beds were compfy. It was very peaceful and not far at all from everything in town.

Painted Churches Road Trip
