The property was very clean and beautiful. There were a lot of amenities throughout that made you feel at home. The resort grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai listening to the ocean. The kitchen had everything you needed. The ceiling and boxed fans helped keep the unit comfortable throughout the day and night.

Lovely spacious condo. King bed was so comfy. Sofa bed was uncomfortable but we bought our blow up mattress from home so it worked out great. It did get warm but there were fans in the closet which helped cool us off. We cooled off in the ocean pool and/or main pool every day. Condo is so close to the main pool which was nice and it was also empty majority of the time. There was also a good amount of open unassigned parking spots available.

Property was as advertised, very nice location. Property was in a quiet area away from town but an easy drive. Spacious layout and having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. We would recommend staying here!

Condo & property are exactly as described, photos are spot on. Jim & Debbie were gracious hosts. We've stayed in Kona several times, this is our first time at Kanaloa and their unit, we'll definitely stay here again! Condo is nice and large for a one bedroom. Love the three pools, grounds and the views!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week stay. Very nice, well furnished condo unit layout for two, conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood south of Kailua-Kona near Keauhou Bay with access to snorkel and other tour boats. We also took advantage in walking to the small cove (He'eia) literally next door to snorkel without the crowds (had the cove to ourseleves) and which also provides a nice view from the living room area. Very pleasent stay ... highly recommened for a Kona getaway for two.

Thanks for the review, and we're glad you had a great time. We understand about AC, but we made an intentional decision to forego installing it. Here's what we say about it in the listing: "The delightful ocean breezes and ceiling fans throughout will keep you cool and content. Layout allows cross ventilation so it's very comfortable sleeping. Electricity is very expensive in HI, so we made a conscious decision to forgo installing air conditioning. This benefits our guests greatly in two ways - 1) we can continue to offer our condo at a very competitive rate, and 2) acclimation is easy, many of our guests have commented that while the unit is very comfortable without AC, they also appreciate not having to go through the hot/cold changes when entering/leaving the unit. An additional note - during the renovation, all of the workers commented on how cool the unit was to work in - even during warmer days!" Thanks again for booking with us! Mahalo, Jim and Debbie

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nicely remodeled and had very nice furnishings. We loved the art work in the condo. It was very spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated that anything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay in Hawaii was provided (sand chairs, beach towels, a boogie board, and more). We would definitely love to return to this property when we come to Hawaii again!

Kanaloa at Kona

Beautiful unit in a really pretty complex. Enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the lanai each morning. Lots of amenities to cover all the different types of activities we did in the area during our stay.

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Nicely decorated with well equiped kitchen and loads of snorkel and beach equipment. Clean, well kept, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay.
