Welcome to the spacious and modern Silver Spring Getaway. With plenty of space and amenities for all, this is the perfect place to get away. Super-fast WIFI and a dedicated workspace makes working from here easy. You will be just 8 minutes away from the Glenmont Metro Station and less than 30 minutes away from everything Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia has to offer.
The space
With complete access to the entire home with two bedrooms and one gorgeous bathroom you and your guests will have plenty of space to rest and relax. The expansive backyard is full of amenities for you to enjoy. From outdoor dining spaces, a grill, relaxing covered patio and fire pit you can’t miss out on much needed R&R time. Take your morning coffee and enjoy a beautiful morning or much needed meditation in front of our gorgeous pond.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a delicious meal including pots, pans, essential appliances and utensils. Don’t miss out on your morning coffee or tea with complimentary pods for your enjoyment.

All the TVs are ready for you to use with your favorite streaming applications (feel free to use your accounts), ROKU, a DVD player with a great movie selection and many more choices. A great selection of board games makes family night easy.

Washer/dryer, dishwasher and complimentary soaps are available just to make your stay that much more enjoyable.

Guest access
Self-check-in at your own pace with your own private lock code. Plenty of private parking on-site is also included. Please do not park on grass.

Very nice and clean home! Also was very impressed how responsive and attentive the host Julian was, any questions or concerns I had he attended to them quickly. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future and would recommend 10/10 to anyone.

Convenient Location/Parking

We had a great time visiting family! The location and parking were really convenient!We used the fire pit and it was nice under the canopy.Beds were comfortable and TVs in each room were nice. Information on the refrigerator was very helpful.

Cozy Launch Pad

We had a comfortable stay. The house is a ten minute walk to Glenmont Metro, so it was easy both to go downtown and take advantage of the diversity of Montgomery County.

Home Away from Home

Beyond expectation â˜ș Julian’s home is exactly as described and very “homey”. Decor is amazing, everything labeled & readily accessible, extremely clean and comfy. Even with inclement weather ☔ we thoroughly enjoyed the covered back patio, allowing us to unwind after big days in DC. Once we figured out the traffic pattern we were able to back in with no trouble. Once inside or out back, you’d never know your on a main road. Thank you Julian!

Close to DC

The house was clean this was a plus. Location was on a busy highway, which was easy to navigate once we figured it out, but it would have been nice to know the house was on a busy highway. Plenty of space in the house and the tv's and streaming were also a plus.

Great Place!!

We stayed here for our son's lacrosse tournament in Maryland and the location was perfect. The place is well stocked if you're planning to cook or grill out. It was clean and easy to check in and out. We contacted Julian during the stay for towels and they were delivered within a couple of hours. Julian was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean and well appointed. We ended up not using the backyard space due to frequent rain but the inside was just what we needed for our trip. The house sits on a busy street, but there is room in the driveway to turn a car around to avoid backing onto the street (and there’s a stoplight at the corner, so that helps stop traffic for a bit, too). Overall, we were quite pleased with the house and the friendly communications with our host.

Awesome family home

We stayed to explore D.C. and go to a graduation ceremony it was perfect for our family quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed for a little cookout.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place but my time there wasn’t enjoyable due to a strong chemical smell. I left early because the smell made me ill and my friends couldn't join me. It would have been perfect if the smell hadn’t been so bad.

Good Location

We were just a few minutes from the Metro and walked there every day. Safe neighborhood though it is right on a busy street and was a bit noisy when trying to sleep.

Inviting and warm place to stay

Very nice property! Very well decorated, furnished, supplied...loved the attention to detail, especially with all the very handy labeling on the lights, etc. The owner clearly cares about the experience for those who rent this home...we enjoyed it very much. Didn't get to use the back yard much because the air quality was so bad we limited outdoor time and were busy elsewhere anyway...but I enjoyed a cup of coffee and my book every morning in the gazebo area.

Quiet and Quaint!

We had a great stay and this place is a nice little gem! Everything went very smoothly from start to finish! Julian was a very attentive and helpful host! This little place has very nice backyard and we very much enjoyed having coffee and listening to the birds in the morning and had bbqs and enjoyed drinks at the firetable in the evening! The unit was perfect for our stay. A 15 minute walk to the metro station and very much enjoyed touring all the museums at the Smithsonian and all the monuments and memorials. So rich in history! But boy did we have sore feet! lol The little house was just such a great place to stay and had all the amenities and tons of parking! It was well equipped and very clean and neat with all fresh towels and bedding! Also very close to shopping and stores and and seemed to be a very safe neighborhood..... Not too much more to say... Overall a very enjoyable visit and would recommend to our friends and family! Thanks again so much Julian!

Great time!

The property was set up perfectly. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable and clean! The host Jullian was amazing even recommended a place to eat when we couldn’t decided. Tacos Don Perez is the place and it’s absolutely amazing!! My husband and friend are still talking about it. Had a great time and can’t wait to come back!
