The host was great. We had a big problem with the booking and Kelly helped till it was resolved. The cleaners looked like they stopped and forgot to finish. Cleaning rags were left in two places, just laying on the tables. One of the showers wasn’t cleaned after last guest left, with soap, body wash, and lotion in the shower.Beautiful house but the elevator never worked for us.

Absolutely beautiful location! Our family of nine had abundant cooking, relaxing, and sleeping space. Being just a block from the beach was a huge plus! We highly recommend this Edisto Beach house.

Very clean, great location, really nice arrangement of the rooms in the house. Very easily accessible. Lots of little extras for a vacation home. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful vacation home

This property is beautiful and well equipped. We cooked in most days and enjoyed the huge kitchen. The beds were comfy and we had more than enough room for the 5 couples on our trip. The beach is a short golf cart ride away and the fact you can choose the sound or the open ocean beach was fun.

Excellent property and great location

This property was excellent. We were there for a golf outing. The proximity of this property being on the golf course and just yards from the beach was more than we could ask for. The house was top notch, and the amenities were beyond advertised. We will be looking forward to booking this exact house for our trip next year.

Beautiful Home Fantastic Location

Well appointed home - completely clean and in great condition - lots of kitchen appliances - super fast WiFi and smart TVs everywhere - one block from beach access on the sound, which is perfectly suited for our toddler grandkids and us grandparents - slow gradient beach and broad shallows are very safe for wading in/out of the surf as well as swimming -

Beautiful home on Edisto Island

This beautiful house was clean and stocked with more than adequate supplies. The walk to beach was fairly short. The amount of parking spaces was a bit challenging, but we made it work. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Absolutely Perfect!

Perfect size! Perfect location! Our stay at the Island Duck Away exceeded our expectations! It was spacious enough for my family and my sister's family to enjoy time together without feeling cramped. The porches upstairs and downstairs provided gorgeous views of the golf course. And the beach was a short walk up the street. We look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic Thanksgiving!

Great communication with Kelly. Property is larger than it looks in pictures. Perfectly clean and great location on the island. Can walk to several restaurants and to the dock to buy fresh shrimp. We will be back!

This was a fantastic beach rental, and we're already looking to come back to this house next year. The location is ideal in Edisto - golf course views but only a block to the beach. The house is even better. It is a much higher quality home (hardwood floors, high ceilings, well made kitchen) than any beach house we have rented before. It was a wonderful place for our 3 generation group. And Kelly's support during our stay was excellent -- she was very available for questions during check in, and when we had a problem with oven, she sent someone out right away (and he provided a huge portable air fryer oven for our use when the problem wasn't immediately fixed -- I even baked bread in it). We are already checking our calendars to find when we can reserve the house again.

On of best beach properties

The house was all that was advertised - just great! There were a few issues; but response was immediate and taken care of. We had a power outage that was neighborhood related, and agent stayed in touch with us consistently and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. One of the best beach vacation homes we have stayed at in over 40 years. We will be back!

Great family weekend

We had a wonderful weekend, a block away from the beach. We loved being so close and having a cart to take the provided chairs, umbrella and corn hole with us. The house was beautiful and well-equipped. We cooked most of our meals since it was easier and better than trying to find a place on a holiday weekend. Just what we all wanted. Thank you!
