Experience true log cabin living with a beautiful fireplace,! Relax inside and out with two decks! And the community amenities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, swimming, beach volleyball and more.

This beautiful original Log cabin is part of Bent Tree has a full kitchen with open living space, with a game area with plenty of board games. Relax and watch TV in the living room or in the privacy of the master bedroom. There are 3 bedrooms, the master with a queen-size bed, tv, and separate bathroom, the second has a queen-size bed and the loft has two twin beds. The back deck is great for relaxing in nature with total privacy, while the front porch is cozy with plenty of ways to relax. From both you can view wildlife; wild turkey, deer (a lot) and even Bear!!! (PLEASE do not feed the wildlife)Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the house.

Guest access

Bent Tree is a gated resort community. All guests will need to be registered in advance with the front gate to gain access. Guest will have access to everything with only a storage closet and crawl space off limits. The house is equipped with a smart lock and guests will be sent a personal access code prior to arrival for your security.

Bent Tree is a place of uncommon natural beauty overlooked by the Appalachian Mountains. Be sure to enjoy all that the Jasper area has to offer from historical sites, local dining, and shopping. Take in nearby attractions like Amicalola Falls and local mountains, tour The Historic Tate house, and head to the beautiful Gibbs Gardens with year-round beauty. Plenty of local wineries to enjoy a glass of wine. Local apple orchards are just a short drive away and farm fresh produce. Come autumn, you can even attend the renowned Georgia Apple Festival and all the beauty of the fall colors, or just stay in the resort and enjoy a day at the lake on the beach or reclining at the pool, pickle-ball courts, tennis, horseback and other available amenities such as hiking along many trails with creaks and waterfalls that are perfect for family entertainment. Play a round of golf at the Bent Tree Golf Course. Get away and relax with us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice, quiet, development. The cabin was quaint and set the tone for Christmas week. The cabin was even decorated for the holidays!

Nice mountain community

Place was great. Beds were comfy. New cement driveway and parking was perfect for our motorcycles. Had deer in the yard late evening. Very nice community on the mountain.

This house has a great drive way and close to the front gate ,restaurant , golf course and lake. Very well stocked. Also very comfortable. Owners were very kind and left us a treat. Would definitely stay again for my girls weekend away.

Bent Tree Cabin

The cabin is exactly as pictured. It was very comfortable for our family. The area is beautiful, the leaves were turning and falling. We saw deer, chipmunks and wild turkeys while we were there. We hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely escape for New Years

The property was exactly as advertised. The cabin was clean and the welcome binder explained any question we had. The fireplace was a lovely feature which we used throughout our stay. Would highly recommend to others seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Cozy & Clean!

What a great cabin! Very clean & so nice! The kids especially Loved the loft area and we all loved the fireplace and front porch sitting area! Very kind owners and ready to help and answer any questions we had. It had everything we needed and the location was beautiful. We saw deer every day on the property! We will definitely be back!

Cozy and rustic

Our trip was amazing. We loved the house and all the Wildlife in the community. We saw hundreds of deer, turkeys and even a bear! There are so many activities to enjoy in the resort and it was great to have a summer mountain trip while we were in town for a week long baseball tournament. We would love to stay again in the Fall/Winter. The house was fully stocked with all essentials and we loved the comfort of having so much more room than staying in a hotel. The owners were kind, courteous, accommodating and easy to communicate. They even brought us fresh eggs. We enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving in the mountains

The picture of this cabin did not do it justice. The home was beautiful, decorated mountain home. It has everything we needed to prepare for our Thanksgiving dinner with my family. This was the first time we had ever went anywhere for the holidays. The surrounding areas was absolutely amazing. To make a stay more incredible, we were able to see a family of black bears stroll through the back yard. They stopped to give us a look and went on their merry way.Thanks Paul and Eileen for allowing us to stay in your beautiful mountain home. We hope to come back soon.

Overall good stay

I want to start by saying that if you fear spiders, don’t stay here. There were a lot of spiders and spider webs inside the cabin. This cabin was a little too rustic and old for my liking, but fairly priced. Other then that, it had everything needed, bed was comfortable. Hosts were easy to get ahold of and even left us some fresh eggs for breakfast in the fridge. The highlight of our stay was when we booked and went on a horseback riding tour, which was really close by.

Yes we got in to the cabin at 8pmThe first thing the gate person tell us that the family couldn't coming because vrbo did not register the family names i said the rental said 5 adullt and two children after half Hr calling and they let them in And no heating got to the cabin the

Thank you for leaving us a review, your booking was for 2 adults, you did not advise us that there would be additional guests staying at our property including a dog. Unfortunately the furnace quit working sometime between that morning when my husband and I checked on the cabin and your arrival, my husband brought every space heater we had that night. We had an electrician there the soonest we could the following morning. We did everything we could to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. Have a great 2025

Wonderful cozy cabin

We loved staying here! The property was so cozy and warm - a wonderful place to spend the holidays. We had a small issue related to the EXTREME cold in the area, and the property owner responded very quickly and got it fixed - the day before Christmas! The cabin has everything you might need during your stay, and it's charmingly decorated. We would definitely stay again, and we'd gladly recommend this property to other people.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at Paul & Eileen’s cabin in the mountains! The views were stunning, and it was so quiet and relaxing. Our hosts provided recommendations for wonderful places to visit and explore. They were so responsive with every question we had. The Mexican restaurants in Jasper were delicious. Talking Rock & Ellijay were both cute little car rides, and Helen was well worth the drive to explore. We hiked and walked and spent so much time outdoors. And then we slept soundly in comfortable beds with ample space for the whole group. Can’t wait for our next visit!
