Relax and play with the whole family at this peaceful getaway . Just 12 minutes from downtown Bloomington and 12 minutes to downtown Nashville. We also have painting and various other item on display throughout the home. The items on display are rotated to keep returning guest guessing. All Items are hand made by local artist. Some of these item are available for purchase upon request.

House was very clean and spacious. Very nice outdoor area as well. Only a few miles from Nashville so it was a very convenient place to stay. We would definitely stay again

We had a great stay, unfortunately when we arrived it was just after a massive storm and the power was out. We spent most of the day hanging out in the backyard and around the fire pit at night. Our dogs had a blast with so much area to explore. The next day the power came on and we enjoyed the surrounding area boating and exploring Nashville. Overall our Host was very helpful despite the power issue and he really took good care of us. I would definitely give this location my highest recommendation. As a bonus this house has the best air conditioning I've ever experienced, hands down.

Quiet stay near Indiana University

We wanted a nice, quiet place to stay and relax near IU Bloomington and this house delivered! Kitchen was great, well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, appliances, even spices. And we all loved the hot tub!

Mom and sister weekend

We had a great weekend, the house was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. the only issue we had was figuring out how to work the coffee pot LOL, but my mom is a tea drinker so we just drank tea with her and all was good. Great location, far enough from the hustle and bustle and you felt secluded, but close enough to enjoy the days out. Great Time!!! would rent it again!

We used this property as a meeting point for a cousins reunion with representatives from three states and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and lots of room to eat and spread out and visit. Not a criticism but a suggestion to put slip mats in the bathtub. Also, unless I read it wrong, the advertisement said it had two bathrooms and there was only one and a half. That was not a problem for us since there were only three of us staying there but it could have been an issue if there had been six as it was rated for. The neighborhood was definitely safe. I accidentally left the car wide open (door and hatch) with the keys in it overnight and nothing was bothered. All in all, it was a great choice and would definitely use again.

Perfect location and lodging

This three bedroom pet friendly home was perfect for our needs. We had eqsy access to the town of Nashville and also Bloomington. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen were all clean and well appointed with conveniences such as bedside lights that simply tap on and off, a working icemaker and water dispenser in the fridge door, and coffee pot. My dog so enjoyed the large fenced in back yard. Although pet friendly, yhe house does not smell of any dog odors. I definitely recommend this home for a bit of privacy combined with easy access to Nashville, Brown County State Park and much more, all just a few miles down the road.

The house smelled very musty even when we got home are clothes smelled bad There was no gym the garage is used for there storage and it smelled bad too

Vacation with Pets

The best part of this property is the huge fenced-in yard. Our two dogs loved having the run of the area! If you're looking for a quiet place close to Bloomington this is it!

Great property!

A nice, clean house at a fair price. Hot tub was great! :) The hot tub did stop working halfway through the trip, but the host graciously came and fixed it that same day. Very happy with our stay!

Thanksgiving Holiday Stay

Our family of four with fur friends enjoyed staying for the holiday. Great accommodation for location to hiking in Brown County plus Yellowwood Forest. We really appreciated soak in the hot tub after our hikes!

Weekend at IU

This was a perfect spot to stay with a group for the weekend. We have a son that will be playing for IU football in the fall and this rental is great for family/friends. Clean, easy check in and extremely responsive owner. Will be back in the fall for sure!

Loved huge backyard!

Enjoyed stay. Loved the huge backyard with our furry friend. We were impressed with the living room tv picture enough to note brand name. The distance from our daughter at IU was ideal and location being out away from downtown was nice.

Amazing back yard space

We very much enjoyed our stay. We rented Joes home because of the proximity to the wedding venue our daughter was getting married at(The Wilds Wedding and Event). Very close probity and perfect amount of space inside the home. The backyard was very peaceful and the hot tub was nice after a stressful day of wedding activities leading up to the big day. Joe was amazing with communication and very friendly! I highly recommend the home for not only proximity to The Wilds but also for the proximity to visiting Bloomington and all it has to offer, and the convenience of going into Nashville.

Our getaway

Property was very nice and clean. The outdoor area allowed us to sit outside and enjoy a nice relaxing evening without tv going. The hot tub was a nice plus. Perfect Dog Friendly Home

This was a great place just outside of Nashville. The house was on a quiet cul-de-sac, clean, had a nice patio area with a hot tub and a large, fenced yard that was perfect for our 2 dogs. If we are in this area in the future, we will try to stay here again. We would recommend.
