We loved the location, the big kitchen and the outdoor seating area with the Adirondack chairs overlooking Mt Greylock. Our host was very responsive to all our needs. We hiked many days, visited great museums and went out a couple of times and had excellent food. I communicated to the owner that the house needs a deep clean. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

This was the third time our group has rented this lovely Williamstown house. As alway, we enjoyed cooking meals together, the spacious living/dining room and the beautiful view. Beds are super comfortable and the house is always spotless when we get there, and it is an easy-to-clean environment. We had a wonderful time.

The house is classic and beautiful, the views of the mountains are breathtaking. The kitchen is as fully equipped as any I’ve ever seen and it is easy to set out dinner for six my family and I had a lovely stay here. I believe this was my fourth, but it certainly will not be my last.

A beautiful roomy house with cooks kitchen, well equipped for a group. The autumn views from every window are stunning, total privacy and quiet but 10 minutes to bustling Williamstown shops, international cuisine, art. Great hosting addresses any issues.

Nice,clean, big home to stay in. Not too far from Jiminy Peak. Great college town just minutes away with some fun restaurants.

Quiet getaway

We were in Williamstown for a family wedding with a group of 13 aging from 17 to 81!! We had a wonderful stay at this home. There is plenty of space to spread out if needed and in the evenings, the living/kitchen area was big enough for us all to gather for dinner and games:) Access to the cute towns of Williamstown and North Adams was easy and quick! We would definitely stay there again!!

A perfect retreat for 5 women friends

This beautiful house is unique for its magnificent, uninterrupted mountain and woodland Berkshire views. Combines old world charm and many modern conveniences. Plenty of room for all, with book lined corners to retreat and read or sketch. All communications were tinely and helpful.

This house worked well for 7 adults and 3 children. Kitchen had everything we needed except for dishrag and a couple more kitchen towels.

Spacious, clean, and quiet

The house is very comfortable, with a terrific view of hills and mountains. Bathrooms and kitchen are well-equipped with the essentials and more. Six of us each had our own bedroom, and it was a pleasure to have three bathrooms in the house. It was an easy drive to Williams College and North Adams. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Weekend family ski trip

House was perfect! Size was great for my big family! So spacious, yet cozy. Very nice furniture and comfy beds. Super Clean! Great location because it was secluded but only 15-20 minutes to Jiminy Peak Ski Resort. The views are amazing from the back room windows and back yard. Great for dogs too! We are already talking about going back! Highly recommend!!

Lovely location. Convenient to local sites and activities, but also has a open, country feel and the view is as good as the photos. The collections of books, games, music and art are really interesting. The TV is tucked away and that encouraged family time without. Main level spaces are large. Well equipped, thoughtful attention to details. Need to repaint deck chairs and fix bay window caulking. Core house is @ 100 years old so some odd but not bad aspects. No hairdryer.

Excellent though quirky property

Spent a long weekend with friends and family on the occasion of our Williams College reunion. The house had plenty of space for us. The kitchen was well appointed. The bathrooms were not all stocked with soap and shampoo. The flow of space was unusual. Bedrooms upstairs were in an odd format, with a large bedroom on one end of the hallway--need to walk through a common room/TV room in order to get to the bathroom from this end bedroom. The bedrooms themselves were good-- comfortable beds, enough space. The outdoor space is spectacular. It would have been good for there to have been enough chairs and a table to allow a group to be together outside. There were 3 Adirondack chairs total outside, which is not enough for a house this size and the size of the groups that it is meant to accomodate. All in all we liked the house a lot despite the quirky layout, the incompletely stocked bathrooms and the lack of outdoor furniture. We would rent this property again.

Gem in Williamstown

This intriguing home met all our expectations. Beautiful views for relaxing by the picture windows for early morning exercise or reading in the window seat and local places for hiking. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of room to work in the kitchen or spread out in the dining/living room spaces. Beds comfortable. Fun room upstairs as another space to spread out for sleeping or socializing. I would recommend this property and would enjoy going there again.
