Weekend getaway

This was the perfect place to visit my niece who lives nearby. My mother and I felt safe and secure. Quiet neighborhood with free parking right outside the front door. Communication with the owner was always quick. Check in and out was seamless. The kitchen is huge, beds comfortable and coffee was plentiful! I would stay here again for sure! Your family will love this place!

Celebrated husbands 50th birthday

We never been to Dallas and chose that for husbands 50th bday celebration getaway. Wanted to stay as close to city as possible w/o actually being in the main part. This place was the absolute PERFECT spot! For some night life scenery, first night got an Uber.. it came super quick and a breeze ! Next day, was able to tour the City with ease from this place.. A HOME AWAY FROM HOME! This place has literally everything you could ask for, kitchen fully stocked, updated everything! Beds were super comfy!! Our last night there, we just chose to make a quick run to Walmart and just stay in and enjoy a night of home cooking and playing games! The outside patio area was a fave of mine! The fans outside was a def bonus ! You will not regret staying here!! The owner had left us excellent tips and pointers, not one issue we had! The house is in a very cute quiet neighborhood that easily found and quick access to all your local spots you need! So def will look at again!!

Weekend at Shangri-La in Dallas

Enjoyed a relaxing weekend in a wonderful home. Everything by was first class, including the location and home decor. We especially loved the flooring and kitchen with attached den. Neighborhood was well manicured and quiet, like an oasis in the middle of Dallas. Host was friendly and informative. She made sure we had all the comforts of home. Highly recommend.

Great Location and home!

I have stayed here before and needed a home away from home again for 2 weeks while visiting my daughter. This home is very comfortable and has a wonderful enclosed patio to enjoy in nice weather!

Lovely home in a lovely neighborhood

What a beautiful home full of amenities and so comfortable! I loved sitting outside in the courtyard in the evening! The owner was wonderful and communicated with me about all I needed to know about the property! I look forward to staying there again!

I'm look forward welcoming you to Shangri-La in the City when you visit Dallas. I've lived in Dallas all my life and have had rental property for long-term renters for 15 years. I’ve decided now is the time to experience hosting short-term rentals. I imagine this will enable me to meet people from all over the world. I’ll also have the opportunity to use the hospitality skills I've developed from working for the Four Seasons Resort & Club in Irving, TX as a massage therapist since 2007. I’m also a Taiji Quan instructor in the Four Seasons’ sports club. I’ve studied and taught Taiji since 1977. I enjoy movement and application in both disciplines.

I think working at the Four Season has taught me the value of quality and comfort. My duplex is designed around simple pleasures and service. As a lifetime resident of Dallas, I can offer ideas for places to explore in Dallas as well as the best places to eat.

NorthPark Mall and Mockingbird Station are filled with fine clothing shops and many other stores with a variety of products. From either center, you can hop on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail line and be downtown in minutes. There you’ll find museums and theaters in the Dallas Arts District. DART stations are located at both NorthPark and Mockingbird Station.
