Enjoy the private grounds, 1957 Shasta vintage travel trailer, outdoor shower, sauna and garden areas great for meditation, grounding and photo ops. Describing Casita ArteSana

Quaint. Full of Mexican culture charm. And so delightful. Clean. Warm and inviting. Super pet friendly. Eclectic and unique. Perfect for the art lover. Gardens to enjoy nature and outdoor life. Will I be returning for another stay? Omg absolutely! I can't wait to stay for an entire week. I loved it here. Mitch is the best and most welcoming host ever. Highly recommend this Casita.

Memorable experience

Unique, affordable accommodations in a great neighborhood. Host was attentive and communicative. The location is convenient for birding; we were able to hit multiple state parks using this as our home base. We will certainly try to book again next time we are in McAllen!

Unique experience

From the moment you reach the yard door to access the garden the intrigue kicks in the door is so unique and filled with artistic details. As the door opens, it welcomes you with a lush garden and brick trails to a small art gallery and a beautiful life tree. The apartment is no exception to the uniqueness of the place , no corner is excluded from the artist’s personal touch. Colorful, inviting and absolutely gorgeous. Everything u need and more is encapsulated in this eclectic place. Bed is very comfortable and the two AC units are more than enough for a pleasant stay. Two thumbs up for the owner, who tends ever Detail and so friendly. The house pets are a huge bonus for animal lovers.

The house was nicely decorated and clean. I found it easy to work with the hosts. I felt very safe. I will stay again when I return to that area.

La Casita de la Artista

We were surrounded by art of all kinds and drenched in color in this cute and comfortable casita hidden near downtown McAllen. The bed was super comfortable and there was everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful and friendly. The garden was lovely and brought to mind a tropical paradise. We hope to stay here again on our next trip.

A wonderful experience in McAllen thanks to the ease of location and eclectic lodging. My host was friendly and very hospitable. If I ever make it back to south Texas I will be staying here again!

Peaceful Paradise

What a great hidden gem! I was working in town for the week and found this gem searching locations nearby. The listing does not do it justice. The studio apartment has everything you could want and the beautifully landscaped yard was a relaxing place to enjoy that evening glass of wine while listening to the parrots passing thru and watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife enjoy the surroundings. The host was very accommodating and touring her on-site art studio provided a sense of calm. Located on a quite street in the older part of town with no hustle and bustle to contend with. Downtown and restaurant row on 10th street is an easy commute. I will definitely stay again when my travels bring me back to the McAllen area.
