Very comfortable. Great location. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was a high tub which was very slippery (maybe put a mat inside) and step up and step down to be aware (though signs were posted). We would stay there again!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the cozy bungalow and its convenient location. I believe the tub is a standard height, but I appreciate you mentioning that it felt slippery. I'll definitely look into a non-slip mat. Thanks again for staying with us—we'd love to host you again!

Selina and Matt were very responsive to any questions and needs. The kitchen is beautiful with great appliances and cooking needs so it’s perfect if you’d like to prepare meals. It probably would not work for elderly with balance or walking issues because of some step up and downs in a couple of places.Upstairs would be perfect for 2 children now in school . Master bedroom on first floor very nice.

Just what we were loking for!

We found this rental to be exactly what we were looking and hoping for. Clean, comfortable, cozy, and close to all the places we wanted to go (including Pilgrim's, a great little healthy food grocery store). The owners were so easy to work with and made it seamless for us. Thanks again!

Close to downtown, very comfy, very helpful

This was very clean and nice. The owners were very responsive, set up an air mattress for our kids, and in general made us feel right at home. The upstairs was great for our kids... plenty of space for them to sleep and a tv area where the could watch while we packed/unpacked. It was great having AC (hot days!) including an additional portable unit upstairs to make sure everything stayed balanced. Everything felt new and it was just a really pleasant stay. Should we back in the area, we'd definitely see if we could stay here again.

This is a well appointed home with so much charm. It is a 5-10 minute drive from the lakefront and all of the activities there. The area upstairs for the kids was great- they loved having their own space.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Selina and Matt

Image de profil de l’hôte
Hello! We are your local hosts, Matt and Selina.

We have lived in the area for 40+ years. We have three children but are getting close to the empty nester stage!

Matt has owned a structural engineering business for 25 years in town and Selina is an interior designer.

Coeur d'Alene is full of so much to do and we will happily share all the special places with you. Upon arrival I have a full guide book ready and waiting for you.

We love to play pickleball, travel (Selina just got back from Portugal with her daughter!) eat sushi, and rides motorcycles. We absolutely love hanging in town and camping in the Great Northwest.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Matt and Selina have always adored midtown/downtown CD'A and were very excited to be able to purchase this 1905 bungalow. They love doing the vacation rental scene but are also excited for the possibility that when their children are older they could stay locally in this home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Being in a historic neighborhood, Matt and Selina love the unique characteristics of the 1905 American Bungalow. During the remodel, they got to keep a lot of the quaint characteristics of a home in that era. Be aware of the steps for the small sunken living room and mudroom which is unique to that era. They hope you love the home and it's atmosphere as much as they do!
