This modern downtown condo with an industrial flair features an unbeatable combination of luxury and location. Positioned on the first floor of a two-level condominium complex, this 1,300 sf unit features two bedrooms and two full baths. It also includes a private underground downtown parking garage, so you won’t have to hassle with the hustle and bustle of the city traffic if you opt to explore the charming town of Whitefish. The walls are adorned with a native wildlife theme and the unit is outfitted with high-end furnishings which make this condo feel cozy, comfortable, and clean. Be sure to bring your favorite water toy as the home is just one block from Kay Beller Park which provides direct access to the Whitefish River.

In addition to providing the guest with a beautiful accommodation, a stay at The Bearded Bison Flat also grants access to all that downtown Whitefish has to offer. Boutique shops, fine dining, and a rich nightlife are all just blocks away. The award-winning Whitefish Lake Golf course features, not one, but two high-end 18-hole courses and sits just a mile to the west. Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort is just a fifteen-minute drive or guests have to option to catch the free shuttle bus which picks up just a few blocks away (be sure to check out the S.N.O.W. Bus website for the current schedule). Additionally, guests can travel to Glacier National Park in just 45 minutes. The combination of convenience and luxury at this condo make it a rare and highly sought-after accommodation.

The Space:

Guests will enter the condo complex via the underground parking garage. From here, unload your luggage into the elevator, hit the button, and after a short stroll down the hallway you will arrive at the unit. Enter the condo to reveal a quaint entry area with plenty of gear hooks mounted neatly above the padded entry bench.

Continue through the entry hall to find a spacious great room with kitchen, living area, and dining area combined. The fully stocked kitchen features sleek finishes and high-end appliances for those looking to prepare their own meals. The kitchen is separated from the rest of the great room via a large breakfast bar/island with seats for four. On the opposite side of the great room, a cozy living area surrounds a wall mounted television with streaming capabilities (guests will need to supply their own logins for their preferred streaming options). A top-of-the-line queen-sized sleeper sofa offers a comfortable sleeping option if your group size requires it. The living area is framed by a full-height glass sliding door which allows the warm natural light to flood the condo. Step out the slider to reveal a private patio with a mountain view. A gorgeous slab-style dining room table acts a smooth division between the kitchen and living areas.

Off the great room guest will have access to the master bedroom, the bunk room, the shared bathroom, and the laundry closet. The combination of high ceilings and a large glass sliding door make the master bedroom feels open and airy. An en-suite bath with a custom glass-enclosed tile shower and modern décor tops it off. The bunk room is equipped with a custom bunk bed that sleeps a twin xl bed atop a queen. A large closet combined with dresser provide plenty of storage for gear and clothing. The shared bathroom includes a glass enclosed tub/shower combo, a single sink, and a loo.

Guests will also have access to a private ski locker located in the lobby of the building. We kindly ask that skis and any other outdoor gear stay in the car/private parking garage or in the ski locker to prevent any damage to the walls or floors in the unit. Guests should note, the covered parking garage only provides parking for one vehicle; any additional vehicles must be parked on the street. Great space, awesome location

Wish we could have stayed longer. This place was absolutely ideal for our setup. Walking distance to all the food and entertainment you desire, while being just a 10-15 minute drive to the resort. Underground parking was fantastic, and the home was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend and will likely be back soon.

This was an adorable condo - very well appointed! I would give it five stars but the street noise at night was loud. Other than that it was clean and beautiful! And the location was great!!

Perfect!

My parents and I come to Whitefish every winter. We like staying in town so we can walk everywhere. This location was great. The windows really cut out the street noise, it was very quiet! The place was clean and very spacious. Had everything we needed.

Second Stay at the Bearded Bison

This is our second stay at the Bearded Bison. In terms of the unit itself it has everything you could need including a very functional layout and all the amenities one would expect from a high end vacation rental. The location has all of downtown within an easy and convenient walk and a short trip to the ski hill. Love it.

Perfect Place to Stay

We stayed over the President's Day weekend. We are a family of 4 and property manager communicated well in advance of stay and we were aware of check in time and all other procedures. The written instructions were easy to follow and we didn't need to contact property manager for any reason during our stay. The unit is well-decorated, spacious (family of 4 with a 12 and an 8 year old, and apppointed with everything necessary. The location is perfect and all downtown is within an easy walk. We have already booked for 2024.

Whitefish Montana is a quaint town with rich culture and a booming personality. Activities include an array of dining options, local theater, hiking and biking trails, public beaches, golfing, ice skating, shops & boutiques, live music, & seasonal farmers markets just to name a few.

Glacier International Airport is located 10 minutes from the town of Whitefish. Shuttle service and car rentals are available at the airport. As there are few public transportation options, we recommend renting a car while visiting to give you the ease & enjoyment of traveling at your discretion. Snow tires are strongly recommended during winter months!

The historic Whitefish Train Depot is a major stop for Amtrak on the Empire Builder line. The train arrives daily from points east and west. The train station is an easy 10-minute drive from Whitefish Mountain Resort.

The S.N.O.W. (Shuttle Network of Whitefish) Bus is convenient and free. You can find bus schedules on Whitefish Mountain Resort's website.

Please inquire for special offers on rental cars if needed. Rental cars have limited availability so be sure to inquire in advance if interested.

In addition to offering world class skiing, Whitefish Mountain Resort also offers a plethora of summer activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip line tours, aerial adventure park, alpine slides, & summer tubing!
