The Poppy House is a place you'll eagerly want to come back to after your day on the town. Thoughtfully designed with every luxury in mind - oversized swim spa, huge living room with plenty of seating, coffee bar with a Keurig single serve & drip, Nespresso, tea kettle, luxury linens, Helix mattresses on all of the beds for ultimate comfort, and Smart TV's in each room. Huge gameroom with Golden Tee, NBA Jam, shuffleboard & cornhole!

The Poppy House has an incredible location and is a short walk from Downtown - about .6 of a mile. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway, visiting Southwestern University, attending one of the many downtown festivals or on a work trip - you will love Georgetown and The Poppy House. Once you book, we will send you a guide to all of our favorites spots around town for dining and shopping.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the small appliances you might need, utensils, glasses, dishes and bakeware. There is also a dedicated desk area, should you be working remotely. The front porch and back porch are excellent spaces to relax and have a glass of coffee or wine.

The Poppy House was crafted to be the place you are excited to go to and sad to leave for each of your Georgetown visits.

Beautiful home with everything you could need. The owner is beyond helpful and attentive. We have stayed here twice and won’t hesitate to stay again on our next visit.

Disc golf vacation

A bunch of us friends played a local tournament in Austin. This house was centrally located and very convenient launching point to several different locations. We all enjoyed the large open layout of the house, many separate bedrooms and hot tub to soak our old bones. Great place to stay and would highly recommend.

Family Vacation

The Poppy House was a perfect fit for our group. We had the most amazing stay - all of the details were very well appointed and we had everything we needed at The Poppy House. The outdoor patio area was awesome and had a wonderful covered/screened spa which we very much enjoyed. The air conditioned gaming garage was another huge hit. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Georgetown and highly highly recommend this property.

Stayed here this weekend for a girls college reunion. What a wonderful place. We were all so impressed with every little detail. Kristi was so communicative through the whole stay. I’ve stayed in many homes and this was a fantastic experience from start to end. I have no doubt we will stay again.

Great house!!!

We rented this wonderful house while in Georgetown for a wedding. It was decorated so tastefully with fun wallpaper and an awesome game room! We didn't use the hot tub but it was very nicely installed right off the back porch. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Linens and beds were so comfortable. I love that the house had portable fans in every room also. Keurig coffee maker as well as a Nespresso was perfect for coffee lovers. Highly recommend this house.

Best stay ever!

The Poppy House was everything we had wished for and more. It looked exactly like the pictures and it was super clean. We really enjoyed the layout and the use of the space. The finishes are top tier and you can tell they care greatly about the quality of their beautiful home. Kristi was such a a great communicator and was able to quickly answer any questions we had. It is definitely a top-tier vrbo! We stayed here for a Galentine's Weekend and literally fell in love with the house along with Georgetown. The recommendations provided were on point and we appreciated the expertise. We will definitely be back in the future! You will not regret booking your stay at the Poppy House!!!
