-The host was very accommodating and easy to reach. We lost gas in the unit and he immediately had people out to fix it.-The condo is in a gated community that is very safe. Dog and kid friendly

Worth the stay

negatives- 2 security gates, pool has hours,no streaming services,slow internet at times,no trash bags,1.5 rolls of toilet paper. Nothing big. EExcExcellent stay

Luxury condo

Great host and beautiful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was better than expected. This apartment is on the ground floor. It has a beautiful pool behind the living room door. The entire apartment and community is very clean and new built. It is close to some great local restaurants and stores. The community is very safe fully gated with two security check points. Apartment is equipped with almost everything, kitchen items/species/coffee, laundry and dryer, shampoo, bath soap, shoes, Mexican hats and closet full of bedsheet and towels. We felt like we were home away from home. I highly recommend anyone for your Cancun visit to stay here.

Property itself is nice. Nice gates community. Good pool. However down sides were: no water pressure in showers. No hot water. Every time we showered the water turned cold after 2-3 minutes. 2nd and third person so on had to shower with all cold water. Owners can do better with amount of towels, larger towels, better bed sheets. The bed sheets felt 20 years old. So did the pillows. NO real blankets besides 2 fleece throw blankets in all apartment. My son slept on the couch with an old smelly motel looking blanket. At beginning of our trip we went off the address stated on Expedia. However that is not the actual address. Call owner for any issues do not email cause he will not answer till way later.

Great Property, but Communication Could Be Improved

I had a trip to Cancun planned for about six months, and it was going to be a special one, as it would have been my girlfriend's first time traveling by air. We chose this location to ensure the flight wasn’t too long, making it a great introduction to air travel. Unfortunately, we discovered at the airport that her passport had expired, and we couldn’t take the trip. I completely understand that it was too late for a cancellation or refund according to VRBO’s policies, and I wasn’t expecting one. However, I reached out to the host to explain the situation and to inform them that we wouldn’t be staying at the property. I hoped for a response, maybe even some sort of goodwill gesture considering we had planned to stay for 10 days. Sadly, I didn’t receive any reply at all, not even a quick note acknowledging my message. While I understand that terms are terms, it would have been nice to experience a bit of understanding or humanity in this situation. A simple reply would have made all the difference, and perhaps even a small percentage back would have left me with something positive to say about the host. Unfortunately, the lack of response left me disappointed.

I am soooo disappointed!! I booked this property a month in advance! It seemed like exactly what I wanted in a vacation place, however, there was zero water! No water at all, so we couldn't - Drink filtered water (from the fridge), - Shower or bathe, - Use the toilet, - Couldn't wash hands - Cook or clean When I sent a detailed email to the owner, he responded 1 hour later saying he's going to send someone to fix it. We waited 8 hours an no one showed up!!! In the beginning of this vacation I had to spend $400usd to book another place and then get transportation to go there! The owner even tried to blame the hurricanes, BUT I found the Building Manager and asked if the hurricanes could have caused the water shut-off and they said "no, not at all. Everyone else's water works. He probably didn't pay his bill." To top this off the last e-mail from the owner said he can't help because he's on vacation, out of the country! I reached back out to VRBO and they said that they will refund me! IT's been a MONTH and NO REFUND YET!!! In short, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, unless you can stomach stress and patience! BOOOOO OWNER!!!
