Our unit was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need to have a great vacation. The villa had a sea view and was near the pools and grills so everything we needed was easily accessible. This was our third visit because we love the property and all it has to offer.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location

Marriott Newport Villas were an excellent place for our family. Rooms are very spacious and the resort had all that one could want . pools, restaurants, marketplace, fitness center and classes. we will definately be back as the location is also perfect for a quick drive Laguna, Newport and Crystal Cove experiences, shopping and dining.

Many activities on site. Kids pool and s’more are the favourites. Easy access to the beach but can also stay on the property to keep the kids busy. Making parents’ life easier on vacation. First Rate Accommodations

Marriott's Newport Coast Villas is a wonderful place to stay and served us extremely well as an anchor to explore Southern California. The resort has extremely comfortable accommodations, fabulous amenities and within reach of San Diego, Los Angeles and everything in between. Dream location

This is one of the best resorts I have stayed for families. Great heated swimming pool, could be warmer in the winter, but it is fine. Daily activities. Rooms are in great condition and very spacious. Resort view of the pacific ocean is unbelievable. Location is perfect to visit the orange county.

Amazing place to vacation with your family. It was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful California Experience!

One of most fabulous resorts I have ever stayed at. Grounds were beautiful, views were remarkable, location was far enough away but close enough to experience Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, etc. Condo type units large enough to feel at home in and so much to do inside the resort. Pools were so wonderful you didn't even want to shuttle to beach which was an easy, quick shuttle. Would love to visit again!

Wonderful stay

My family (3 of us) stayed for 5 nights in our condo.It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a nice kitchen, downing table, and living space. We were fortunate to have top floor (4th) with an ocean view and spent mornings on our balcony. The resort was at capacity but it didn’t feel that way. Our place was quiet at night. The fitness center had everything needed for a solid work out and grounds were well-maintained. Location is perfect and we enjoyed the e-bikes for a day riding along the coast.

top notch resort in the heart of orange county

Incredible villa, spacious and modern, with two bedrooms, full kitchen, and a first floor walkout private patio. We had a peekaboo ocean view, walking distance to the main pool and another pool area. Onsite food is decent pub food, and onsite drinks are pricey. Shuttles to crystal cove and the amazing beachcomber restaurant. close to disneyland, angels stadium, and all the orange county beaches, hiking, shopping, and natural beauty. At times, resort pool got crowded and hottubs would get full, but overall incredible place to stay. Only request for future would be to have ability to pick room location/view upon booking, as we ended up on the first floor with limited view.

Beautiful resort, wonderful vacation

Our family of 7 stayed for a week at the Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas. With a large family it is usually hard to find a place to accommodate all of us. The villa was plenty big and having a kitchen to eat a few meals was a bonus! After leaving Cali we were headed to Vegas-the villa had a washer and dryer-so we didn’t have to pack many clothes. Outside of the villa-the views we’re beautiful. You could watch sunrises and sunsets with the Pacific in the background. The kids loved the koi pond, basketball, table tennis, and golf, which was all included with the stay. We spent some days at the pool and the hot tubs, and other days we made trips to the beach, which was super close! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Incredible resort

The resort and grounds are absolutely beautiful. Any images or descriptions you see don't do it justice. A+ customer service for every employee that we interacted with. It was my parents' 50th wedding anniversary while there, and when resort staff found out, they treated them to a complimentary in-room meal and bottle of wine. The resort offers a shuttle to nearby destinations and has plenty of on-site activities. The only con to the whole stay was that an apparent herd of elephants stayed in the villa above ours, making it hard to sleep at night. That's not necessarily the resort's problem, but I guess that means that soundproofing could be upgraded. As for booking through VacationCandy, it was a great experience. All aspects of the reservation were handled by their awesome customer service crew. I'll definitely be returning to them for our next family getaway.

Nice modern away-from-home villas

Check-in was easy and quick. We liked having free parking and no resort fees. The villa was nicely decorated and up-to-date. We were close to both Newport and Laguna Beach and it was an easy drive. The grocery stores and restaurants nearby were nice as the food on grounds wasn't all that great. The fitness center was nice and did the job. There were also grills around that we saw others using and enjoying. The only hassle was dealing with seating at the pools. People would go early and place towels on the chairs and not show up for hours. Very irritating and nothing was done to prevent or discourage this. Procedures could and should be in place to address this situation. That being said, it's a nice resort and we enjoyed our stay.
