Great location

Our room at the Marriott waiohai was great! The pool was great, not too crowded... good drinks and decent food at the bar. The beach in front is nice. We often walked to Poipu with our kids which is a short walk. Would love to stay here again!

Great South Shore Option

Great beach access. Very convenient registration, check out and parking. Small bar/cafe on site has pretty good food if you don’t want to venture out. Rooms are spacious for 4 adults.

Wonderful

Resort is the perfect family destination. Rooms have been recently redone and the grounds are well maintained. Beach has everything you’d want from snorkeling to surfing to boarding all seconds from the pool area. Drinks at bar are expensive but it’s Hawai’i.

Beautiful location

Loved the location of this property; located within steps of the "Peaceful" pool. Always a spot available at the pool and able to enjoy reading and resting at any time of day at this pool. The restaurant on site is very limited; however, the kitchens in the suites are very well equipped so plan on shopping and enjoy cooking in your suite and eating on your beautiful balcony and enjoying the incredibly beautiful landscaping.

Best Resort in Kauai

We loved our stay at the Marriott Waiohai! We love the property, rooms and all of the amenities they offer! We have stayed at this property numerous times in the past, but this was our first time booking through VRBO. The management property, Vacation Candy, was very informative and communicative during the booking process. I was a little worried about getting the reservation updated to our name at the resort, but everything was executed perfectly. I would definitely rent with Vacation Candy again and plan to in the future. Thanks for an amazing week in Kauai!

Perfect getaway

We loved the resort. Everything was as advertised, clean and friendly. We loved the family friendly amenities like water slides, perfect beach with lounge chairs and a beautiful rock pool where the kids could snorkel in safe waters a short walking distance from the resort. The surrounds and landscaping was kept beautifully and the local character was never lost. We loved that it didn't look and feel corporate. The rooms were large and the comfortable beds were a plus. We loved it and would book with Vacation Candy any time again. The communication was straightforward and clear.

Second time at Poipu

As promised the room had a great ocean view. Property is in excellent condition with very well cared for grounds. Rooms were very comfortable for the 2 couples in our party and resort staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice pool areas allowing for guest who wanted a quiet area to relax or for those wanting to swim with the grandkids. Beach was just a few steps away if you wanted to get away from the pool for a while. A great location for all the activities in the area and we would not hesitate to book again. Awesome vacation all around and what you would expect from the best of Kauai. Mahalo!

We had a great time at Marriott’s Waiohai at Poipu Beach. The location was amazing and convenient to several different areas with shopping and restaurants. The unit was clean and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. We reserved an ocean view room and we were definitely not disappointed with the room we were assigned. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Renting snorkel gear and boogie boards at the Pool Hut by the Honu Bar was a game changer for our trip. Snorkeling at Poipu Beach was wonderful and well worth it!
