Great little cabin! Well-stocked, clean, walking distance to downtown, and great communication throughout the stay. My husband & I came for our anniversary, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and relaxing with tea on the porch. We didn't use the backyard at all, but it's a very large space with a firepit and grill. Lots of people walked on the street in the mornings & evenings, and we felt very safe and comfortable. Would recommend!

Cozy Cabin

Very clean; small kitchen but had everything you needed. Nice welcome sign, for Odeya and humans, very cute Manager and Owner very responsive and accommodating for our needs.

Lovely house

Very kid friendly and very nice staff. Mountain High ski resort is another matter -- overpriced lift tickets, overpriced food. They charged 100 for a child's ticket and doesn't matter to them if you're arriving after lunch -- it's full price no matter what. Lame.

The best VRBO experience we’ve had so far

We absolutely loved this cottage. I have two teenagers, a toddler, and a husky and we all had such an amazing experience. There’s still so much to do in Wrightwood, stores nearby, enough equipment to cook breakfast lunch and dinner for the kids, and so much more. The town had so many cute little Shops to explore. The yard was perfect for our dog. My toddler was obsessed with all of the toys and the playroom, and my teens loved all the cute snacks and personalized trinkets for my family in the house. My husband and I were talking about making this an annual trip and I can’t wait to go back!!

Cozy cabin!

We loved our stay in this little cabin! My daughter is one and she loved all the toys and the cute playroom! It was very kid/baby friendly and I really enjoyed all the books and games that were there too! We had a blast!

Absolutely wonderful!

Lilac Cottage was the perfect rustic retreat for me, my bestie, and our furballs. It was so easy to find, the town is really cute and has great places to eat, and the cottage was so adorable and comfortable. The fenced in yard is amazing and provided everything we needed to relax and stargaze, or dine al fresco. The retro cottage kitchen was well-appointed and supplied everything we could have wanted, and the bedrooms were very cozy and restful. I can't wait to stay at the cottage again when it snows, as well as when the lilacs are in full bloom!

Very cozy & clean cabin, originally built in 1929. We have a family of 5 plus our small dog, Millie. There are 2 small bedrooms with a bed in each, and up in the attic loft, there is a small bed, perfect for a young child. The kitchen is small, but has about everything you need. There is just one bathroom, actually a half bath, as there is no rub, just a shower. But it gets the job done, and is clean. There are plenty of activities for the family, chess/ checkers, board games, etc. There is a fireplace, but we did not use it as it is currently summer and about 80 degrees. There is a small AC in living room/kitchen area, and it keeps the cabin cool during the day. At night, a nice breeze comes in if you leave the windows open. You don't need the AC at night.The backyard has plenty of seating, propane BBQ, & large hammock. Large pine trees and plenty of shade.The setting is beautiful, like staying in a mountain cabin, but within walking distance of a market, mini-market, brewery, tavern, pizzeria, eateries & gift shops ("Downtown"). They are all within a mile of the cabin. We had a very pleasant stay here & wouldn't hesitate to return! The owners are very friendly & respond quickly to any questions you may have. P.S. Just a quick note that there is no washer/dryer at this cabin. There is a Laundromat in a nearby town (Phelan), about 6 miles away.

Absolute gem

I cannot say enough about this gem of a property and the property managers. Every little touch was thought of, and we felt like we were home the second we walked in the door. The communication couldn't have been better and I felt comfortable knowing that if anything was needed they were readily available. House was clean and comfortable, our pet was warmly welcomed as much as the two legged visitors. Will definitely be returning.

So charming! The hosts have been very communicative and added special touches to make our visit special. The cabin is more spacious than I anticipated. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We are only staying one night and I wish we could stay longer to enjoy the cabin and the yard.

Lilac Cottage

My wife, daughter, two dogs and I stayed at the Lilac Cottage for two nights. The cabin was very nice. Small but clean and comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for the dogs. The house is in a quiet neighborhood among lots of pine trees but not far from shops and cafes. Very pretty area.

Great cabin!!!

Enjoyed out time in this cabin. The host is most gracious. The place was spotless and comfy. It was well stocked with cream for our coffee in the morning. It is very close to the shops downtown Wrightwood. The backyard was nice to have for our dog and for us. Chairs and hammock were comfortable. Plan to come back!

Wonderful experience, highly recommend

We visited the Lilac Cottage while staying in Wrightwood for my daughter’s birthday. The place was so clean and cozy and perfect for our family and pets. It has a very rustic feel which is always what you want when staying in the mountains. But it also has all the modern conveniences, and the hosts have added so many adorable details. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the fun games in the backyard. I do wish there was a back door leading to the back yard, would be a lot more convenient with pets, but not a big deal. Other than that our stay was perfect in every way and the hosts even added some thoughtful birthday surprises for my daughter. She was so excited. Thank you for an amazing experience, we would love to visit again soon!
