Hygge Haus - Rustic charm, cozy beds, and a serene location!

Enjoy tree-studded surroundings, cozy vibes, seasonal mountain views (in winter), the comforts of home, and great vacation extras at Hygge Haus in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia. This lovely 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin offers space for 4 guests, space for a family or a few friends, and a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge – only about 10 minutes. Sip cocoa in front of the crackling fireplace, soak in the hot tub at night, and enjoy the best of North Georgia living!

After a day on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, fishing, and hiking along the Benton MacKaye Trail, come back to Hygge Haus to cozy up by the fireplace, whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, toss steaks on the gas grill, or enjoy a nap in the hammock outside. There is a DVD player for movie nights, along with a firepit for s'mores and late-night chats, rocking chairs and a porch swing, a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, CornSkee, and board games!

At night, retreat to the bedrooms that include TVs. Brew coffee with the Keurig coffeemaker, make tea with the kettle, toss loads of laundry in the washer/dryer, and enjoy easy keyless entry when you arrive! There is also a ramp to the front porch and parking for 2 vehicles.

‱ 4WD/AWD is recommended for the best travel experience. Roads are passable in a regular vehicle, but it is much easier to use 4WD/AWD and/or a vehicle with more ground clearance.

Cabin that lives up to it's name

Hygge Haus is exactly that...cozy, comfy, peaceful. The hosts are very thoughtful in stocking the cabin with supplies, some things I would not have thought of.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway, pretty private and quiet. the road up to the cabin is a bit steep with some uneven spots so would suggest a vehicle with a little clearance. Overall great place very cozy.

Comfy and Cozy

This property is adorable. It is charming and cozy. It was perfect for our anniversary weekend. The cabin is well equipped, we had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The check in process is so easy. We will definitely be back!

This property was absolutely adorable. Everything was clean, and the cabin felt so homey and safe. There was a grill, hot tub, and fire pit, which were all well-taken care of. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. Please note that the drive up to the cabin is a little bit steep, so I would recommend using an AWD vehicle (and also try to get there while it is still light out, haha). Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful cozy little cabin

My husband and I loved the quaint coziness of the cabin! It had everything we needed. Extra towels in closet. Clean, nicely decorated, felt very homey. Loved the hot tub and views. One thing I would say is the couch is a bit uncomfortable. The cushions slide out from under you very easily. And the tv can lag a bit, but if you’re patient, it works. Blankets were a nice touch, helped to make the couch a bit more comfy. Overall, we would come back!

Treacherous location very unsafe

Very dangerous getting in and out of property A tree blocked the exit road on property. Checked out after 2 days. Leaving,almost had a head on collidion with a pickup truck. Supposed to stay 7 days.looking for a refund for the 5 days I paid for and didnt use.

Girls Weekend

Directions to the cabin were easy to follow and the check in process was simple; however, upon entering the cabin, we were quite surprised to find that the cabin had not yet been cleaned since the prior guests had checked out. I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and this was a first for me. I called the property management company and they did send a housekeeper out to get the cabin in order and they also assured me I would be compensated for my troubles. I was appreciative and understanding. The rest of the stay was enjoyable. I saw deer from the porch, relaxed in the hot tub and loved the cozy cabin. I am disappointed to say, the property management company has offered no compensation as promised. It didn’t ruin my stay, but I’m not sure I will book with another company again. Dealing with owners directly seems to be much more personal and they make it their mission to make sure you have an enjoyable stay from start to finish.
