This cozy and absolutely adorable cabin are what dreams are made of. The hosts were amazing and made our Christmas vacation perfect!

Sweet place

We enjoyed our time here - great location, friendly hosts. Mitch the outdoor kitty was sweet. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was a little small for a family of four with older kids, but we were out and about most of the day. Love the walkability of Cloudcroft!

Grossly Misrepresented

Based on the listing we were in disbelief of what we actually rented. Low ceilings in the bathroom, being 6’-4”, I bumped my head. Beds hard as rocks. Propane for the fire pit ran out first night, and no propane bottle for the grill. Just today I get two emails stating $1000.00 of damage. Presenting this to my lawyer to investigate and follow up. The cabin was left in same condition as when we arrived.

Getaway in the Clouds

We enjoyed the cool temps and mountain scenery. The town of Cloudcroft is quaint and the people are very friendly. Erich and Abby were great hosts and the cabin was just as described; very clean, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Exactly as described

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights - the area is beautiful. Everything was very clean, water pressure was great, the size of the cabin was larger than we needed but was nice to have. There were makeup removers provided, there was coffee (Keurig) provided, bottled water for the coffee maker, shampoo, cream rinse and body wash all available. Everything was great for our stay. If you are looking for a secluded place, this is not it. There is another cabin/house VERY close. If you are looking for a deck or balcony to sit on to look at the beauty of the area and the wildlife, this is not it. But if you are looking for a nice place to stay that clean and has a lot of 'extras' (listed above) then this is it. ***bring a bag of ice

Great stay at charming peoperty

We had a great spring break stay in this charming, comfortable place. It was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom area. The heater worked well and kept us cozy. The kitchen was well appointed, and the host pups were wonderful! We would definitely stay again!

Super cute little cabin

This cabin was just right for our family's one night stay. The beds were too firm cor.our liking and the parking was pretty tight but otherwise, we thought the place was nice and cozy! The owners were super helpful as well

Weekend trip

Really comfortable and clean cabin. The beds were nice, we slept way later than we intended. The host was great at communicating directions and even sent pictures of the parking spot.

We both work full-time off the mountain while also running several small businesses, and we truly enjoy being involved in our close-knit mountain community. I was born and raised in Cloudcroft, and Abby has proudly called it home for the past 20 years. We love hosting travelers from all over the world and are excited to share our little piece of heaven with our guests.

We love this cabin for its peaceful location and serene setting. Tucked away on a quiet, paved road with easy, year-round access, it feels like a true mountain retreat. One of our favorite things is watching the occasional wildlife “traffic jam” on the street below, sometimes they even stop to snack on the flowers in the yard. The night skies are incredible, with unbeatable stargazing from the private yard. On warm spring or summer evenings, there’s nothing better than grilling a steak and enjoying an ice-cold beverage under the stars. We live right next door and are always mindful of our guests’ privacy, while remaining as available, or hands-off, as you’d like us to be.
