This Cozy Ski-in, Ski-out, Golf-on, Golf-out Mountain Cabin sits at the foot of Jack Frost Vail Resort and Jack Frost National Golf Course in the Beautiful and Private Snow Ridge Village. Home is also only a 15min drive to Big Boulder Ski Area giving you easy access to a 2nd Vail Resort within minutes. Stainless Steel appliances, new floors, with bonus 3rd bedroom in loft for that truly unique mountain house experience. Home rents very quickly during prime seasons. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, dining, nightlife surround this perfect location.

Ski In Ski Out disclosure: Although Snow Ridge Village markets itself as the only ski in/ski out community on Jack Frost Mountain, our home, is roughly a 5 min walk to the nearest ski run (Ridge Run) via the street. There also is, the ski in/ski out trail map which is framed in the kitchen and our trail begins behind our unit. This beautiful walking trail is “sometimes” snow covered and therefore skiable to the mountain and back. This isn’t an open your door and hop on the mountain ski in/ski out.

Wonderful Pocono getaway

I took my teenager daughter and a few friends for a weekend of skiing. The location is perfect and the layout was great for us.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this specific property. We would definitely choose to stay at this property again in the future. The living room space with the fireplace was a wonderful place to fellowship and warm up after time on the slopes. The location was as convenient as you could find to the slopes.

Really clean townhouse that is 2 minutes from Jack Frost. Appliances were a little dated but completely functional. Was perfect size for our family of 4

Perfect for us

Property was perfect for our needs at a reasonable price. A three minute drive to the JF lodge. Host was very responsive to our inquiries. Property is slightly dated but everything is functional. There’s been some upgrades and it is very cozy. We’ll definitely use it again!

Awesome house!

The house is definitely farther than mentioned online from the slopes/lifts. House is a bit dated but fully functional. We were comfortable and had plenty of space for our small family. It was clean and taken care of. Has everything you need to cook! Fully operable kitchen! We would definitely consider this place for future visits! Thanx!

Decent stay to ski at Jack Frost, but it's a hike to the slopes

First off, some townhomes in Snow Ridge Village are ski-in/ski-out, but this one is a good 10-minute walk to the trail that leads to the runs. When we arrived, the heat was set at 50 degrees and it took the entire night into the next morning for the living area and kitchen to warm up (12-16 hours). There are several thermostats, and, luckily, the bedrooms did heat up after a few hours. There were a few missing lightbulbs, so some rooms were quite dark in the evening. The tile in the master bathroom shower is moldy and needs replacement. The dishwasher is super loud, so plan to run it while you are out of the place. Otherwise, the unit was clean and cozy enough for two nights after skiing (luckily, we didn't ski on the day we arrived, or we would have been freezing). With a few more updates and a warmer welcome, this could be a great place!

Thank you for your stay and I appreciate your advice. To clarify “Hike to the slopes” there is no closer community to Jack Frost than Snow Ridge Village. It’s a 2-3min drive to the closest parking and roughly a 5-6min walk to the closest ski run if you take the most direct path. Although you’re the first to be disappointed with the heat we have since added a new 6ft baseboard heater to the living room to avoid this complaint moving forward. Although the Master Bathroom is rustic to go with the mountain feel, I wanted to assure you, along with any future guests, that the home/bathrooms are always cleaned thoroughly with bleach so although the caulking may show signs of use/age there is absolutely no mold. Thanks again for being our guest and although I am saddened to hear you did not love our mountain house as much as we do, we’ll continue to upgrade our property and wish you the very best with your next trip/adventure.
