I had a wonderful stay at the blue cottage! It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake. The house is also so comfortable and I felt right at home. It is a lot bigger than I expected and had everything I could need. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!

We were in town for family wedding, so we didn't get to enjoy the outside parts of the property as much as we would have liked, but the little cottage was perfect for our weekend. We stayed with 3 adults and 3 kids and never once felt crowded. The beds were all very comfortable, and we found everything we needed in the house. Communication was also great, with most messages getting a response back within just a few minutes. Also, the check-out was simple and straightforward which was great. We would definitely recommend this for small families, and would stay here again any time.

Comfy and quiet

My uncle and I were just looking for a place to sleep at night while attending a seminar in the area. We ended up finding this for the same price or even less than most of the area hotels. Communication was great with the owner and I wish our stay would’ve been longer to get to enjoy all that was available to us at the lake house. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Every detail is covered for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Convenient location not far from the interstate. Communication before our stay was quick and helpful. Really appreciated use of the kayaks. The lake is very quiet during the week. Restaurants are within 15 minutes for those who don’t want to cook—kitchen is well equipped for those who do. This nicely decorated and furnished home was a perfect place to relax and regroup at the end of a busy summer.

This is a very nice place to stay and host was very accommodating. I always comment on improvements that could be made. The kitchen chairs are just hard bar stools and not at all comfy. My king bed felt comfy to me but my daughter felt the queen bed was too firm. Of course, everyone has different preferences on beds. These are minor and does not affect the overall 5 star rating.
