It's time to relax! Welcome to the Sunset Retreat on Lake Gregory. Enjoy our full deck with fire pit, you can relax and take in the vast mountain views every morning with coffee or evening with a glass of wine. Inside, 10 guests can comfortably indulge in a warm home-cooked meal, curl up near the fire for a movie, or battle it out in our game room. You'll be a leisurely 15min walk from the water and 5min drive to town for shopping, restaurants, & more. We're looking forward to your stay with us!

Upon arrival, we found dirty bed sheets in multiple rooms. We contacted the host, who responded quickly and directed us to a cleaning closet where clean sheets were stored, so we had to change them ourselves. The towels were also dirty, and we had to wash and wait late into the night for them to finish drying to shower.Additionally, the bathtub drain was partially clogged and began backing up during showers, forcing us to turn the water off to prevent the tub from filling. The toilet in that same bathroom also had issues. The oven did not work, and there were very few dishes available for cooking.Considering the amount we paid for this house, we were unfortunately disappointed with our experience.

Location was great. The house was unfortunately missing some of the amenities included in the listing and had an odd smell throughout. The view from the balcony was lovely for sunrise/sunset.

Great place to stay. There was plenty of room for 9 of us and the downstairs playroom was an excellent area for the kids (ages 12, 8 and 3).

Needs a deep cleaning

The house has potential. The sunset views were incredible, we loved the gas fire pit on the deck, it has capacity for 2 families and its location is just a walk from Lake Gregory. Unfortunately the lack of cleanliness and general lack of upkeep sadly earns it low ratings.We arrived to a house smelling strongly of pledge or Lysol, a dishwasher that was out of order, dirty dishes in the cabinets, a bbq without tools, patio furniture missing covers, not enough dishes for our group, broken front door keypad, no top sheets or duvet covers on comforters, no trash can liners, trash under beds
 the list could go on. The host responded to my inquiries quickly but the solutions offered were not great. (“Sorry” and “look again in cabinets”) This place needs a thorough deep clean and some fixes. We did find the beds to be comfortable with relatively new mattresses.

Not what we expected

When we got to the cabin, everything smelled like Lysol but the kitchen surfaces had dried food on them, the carpet and wood had a lot of hair on it, every towel had black hair stuck to it, our bed sheets were dusty, there was no hand soap in the communal bathroom, decor was missing off the walls (just a nail with no photo), the railing was falling off, multiple windows did not open, the kitchen cookwear is close to broken or in poor condition, we found multiple things under beds such as old makeup, a diabetes kit,an old hand towel, glow sticks, and darts. The view was amazing and it seemed clear that at some point this place really had a lot of love put into it. It just seemed like this time most things have seen lots of wear and tear and the cleaning wa very poor.

Paradise vacation cabin

Wow definitely we are coming back soon and will push hard to book the same cabin. All my family were amazed by the beauty of the sunset.. location is very nice and everything is about 5 minutes drive.. thank you see you soon!!

Weekend Wedding Base Camp

This location was perfect for us as our group was going to a Wedding at the San Moritz Lodge. Couldn't be happier with the location for what we needed.

Beautiful and peaceful property!!

The house was beautiful and we were surrounded by trees! It was a family trip with 3 preteens and they loved the games in the room. It was a short drive to Lake Gregory and downtown. Communication with Justin was very easy and he responded quickly to any questions I had and was very accommodating. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful cabin and location. Lots of amenities and games available to play.

The place had everything needed to have a great time with friends. The game room is a good place to spend time with friends.
