Welcome to The Disciples Village Lower Unit #389 - New to our Vacation Rental Program!
The lower unit is a 2-bedroom condo, perfect for a group of 6 guests. To accommodate additional guests, the upper unit #388, can be reserved separately.
Our condo features a living room, dining area, full kitchen with a standard coffee pot and Keurig, washer/dryer and full bathroom . The king bedroom features a gas fireplace, while the the other guest bedroom has a two queen beds.
The Disciples Village Community is the perfect location for your friends and family to enjoy a Northern Michigan Getaway. We're approximately less than a mile to the Boyne Mountain Resort and only 7 miles to Downtown Boyne City.
To share a little more about the resort: Boyne Mountain is a skier's paradise offering the best skiing and boarding in the lower peninsula. Boyne Mountain is known for an abundance of groomed runs, half-pipe, and tubing park, where experts and beginners are equally delighted as Boyne Mountain can accommodate your needs. Lessons and rentals are available for all ages at the main lodge. Tickets for Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands are interchangeable.
The Area:
Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.
Looking for a Day Trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. These are just a few options during your visit in Northern Michigan!

Ski weekend

The condo is fine but there was a few issues. It sure would be nice to have more seating in the living room area. There was only a couch and small chair. There were only 3 coffee mugs and we had 6 people. The host had more delivered and handled very quickly. I had to fix the coffee make for it was not put together correctly. Minor issues but paying that amount was frustrating

Reviewer Comments: First Off - NO AIR CONDITIONINGif you are staying in the summer take note! this is a lower level unit and it is well shaded. there are windowws but no air circulation. the owners should provide fans. Also, if there are tenants on the first level we did notice noise from the upper level. Other than this the location in Boyne is great. the other amenities are accurate. If you are here in the winter there is baseboard heat.

Lower Level and not ready for rent

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Be aware when they say lower level, it is a basement of another condo. You cannot control the heat or A/C and you will hear every footstep from the family above you. There are nails on the wall where art used to hang, but they have not been replaced or spackled. This is not ready for rental. Also, some electrical outlets in the bathroom are not grounded. Oh and the furniture is small, super cheap and uncomfortable.

Last Minute Winter Break Getaway

The property management company was great! Honestly, one of the best I have ever worked with. Very accommodating and responsive, I worked with Renee and she was great! Condo is exactly as pictured. Very clean. Kinda dark because it is the bottom unit. Overall had a great stay. Only complaint is that you can hear everything from the people above you. It’s drop ceilings so I wonder if just poor insulation and that effects the noise? Our first night, whomever stayed above us had a party until 3am. We had little kids below so this was terrible! No sleep. I did text the management company, but didn’t get a response until the morning. I called the main line finally at 2am, but cause it was closed there was only the emergency line and I didn’t really consider this an emergency more of an annoyance.Thought about going up and knocking on their door but didn’t want any drunk people confrontations. However, Renee did speak with the people the next morning about the situation and then on actual New Years Eve they were super quiet and respectful. She reached out right away in the morning to me as well to let me know she spoke with them and to call her directly if it happened again. But besides that situation everything was great. And that could happen really anywhere. Overall great weekend with the kids at the waterpark and snowboarding. Thanks for sharing your unit with us!
