Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
Rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at this property. If guest are caught with a pet, guests may be subject to an immediate cancellation without refund. If evidence is found after your stay, there will be a $150 penalty for rule violation.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Guests not staying overnight are welcomed. Loud, disruptive parties are not.
BYO Beach Towels. We provide bath towels
BYO Life Vests HIGHLY encouraged to ensure proper size.
Firewood is available for purchase.
The dock is located between 2 other rentals. You must walk between these two properties to access the dock. All 3 rentals are owned by the same person and managed by Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals.
This property is a 3-car garage conversion that sits on the opposite side of the driveway as the main house.

The host was very communicative and wanted to make sure our stay went smoothly. The house itself was nice, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. There was a nice view of the lake. I would stay here and do business again with the owner/manager.

The house was great and conveniently located 2 lots away from the wedding venue. Roomy enough for 2 adults, 18yo, 17yo, 13yo. The owners were gracious enough to let us check in early to change prior to the wedding.

Great place to get away even if it rains!

Everything about this property met all of our expectations. Great location, view of the lake and all the amenities. The house was fully stocked for everything we needed and decorated really pretty, nice little touches too. The host was always responsive to any questions and the guidebook app was so helpful to find fun things to do even though it rained the whole weekend. Can't wait to come back!!

Went for our anniversary weekend, perfect little spot on the lake. Rented a pontoon, private dock was great, enjoyed the firepit too! Great communication, very clean and all the amenities we needed! Thanks again!!

Getaway

This was a smooth experience. I especially love the app that had all of the information I would have ever needed. Although no one was technically there to assist with the process, I felt like someone was there the full time and walked me through every step. This was one of the easiest rentals I've had in a really long time. I will rent again!

Great Experience!

The property is exactly as described, and its location is perfect to explore all that the area has to offer. We hiked the Giant City State Park, Ferne Clyffe State Park, and Tunnel Hill State Trail. The trails were very easy for our three kiddos, and there was so much climbing on the bluffs for them (and us) to take part in. The Trail of Tears Memorial at the Tunnel Hill Trailhead in Vienna, IL is a must see. We made a quick stop at the Boo Rothman Memorial Park, which was a lot of fun for the entire family. There were a ton of deer near the property as well. We enjoyed breakfast at Iron Whisk in Cobden, IL, dinner at Quatros Pizza in Carbondale, IL, and dinner at M.A.'s Filipino Cuisine in Marion, IL. The house was wonderful to come back to for relaxation after hiking and exploring all day. The kitchen was fully equipped to handle feeding our little army, and the couch was easy to doze off in while watching a movie in the evening. Highly recommend for families!
