Stay: 12/20 - 12/27/25Magnificent house, loads of room and spectacular views. Every convenience you might need. I can't imagine a more comprehensive, inspiring and tranquil panorama of Cinnamon Bay. There were ten of us including a couple of small children and we all, to a person, enjoyed ourselves. The property manager was accessible, responsive and eager to please. A pleasure to deal with.We couldn't be happier with the experience. Thanks to all involved.

Perfect St John Experience

The home is perfect for families and is a great central location to everything including all of the North Shore beaches, in between Cruz, Coral, East End, etc. WE had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave.

Great time at Valhalla

We had a fantastic week at Valhalla with three families. Our hosts were great and played live music for us the second night. The villa is well equipped and very comfortable!

Lovely house with amazing views

We had a fantastic stay at Valhalla! The house is lovely, and the views over Cinnamon Bay and the BVI are terrific. The location is also fantastic -- convenient to the North Shore beaches, but also to the East End. Highly recommended.

Simply Paradise!!! Highly Recommend!

Our group of 10 (5 couples) had an absolutely wonderful time at Valhalla. The views were the best that we had ever had on St. John over the many years we have been coming to island. The house itself was very well appointed, very comfortable, and extremely spacious. Even better, were the onsite house managers, Anysia & Scott. They are terrific people and were very helpful during our stay. I highly recommend this house!

Remarkable Catherineberg property.

Private beautiful stone home with the most incredible views of Cinnamon Bay and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the rainbows in the moring to the stargazing in the evening and everything in between. The heated infinity pool was an extra bonus. The home is close to many beautiful beaches. The property managers Anysia and Scott are fabulous and helped us with all our needs during our stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again.

The house was AMAZING! One of the nicest homes I have ever been in. There were no details overlooked when building this home! I can’t say enough about the home. The owners were a delight to work with and Scott the house manager went above and beyond to accomodate us for anything that we may have needed. He was a great pleasure to work with!

Beautiful views!

Such a beautiful property, well decorated, well stocked with dishes, top notch appliances and finishes. The house managers were extremely helpful, knowledgable and kind. Even during the heat of August, the outdoor area had a great cross wind that continued to draw us to the outdoor kitchen and patio and kept us comfortable. The home also has a really good water filtration system. We never had any issues with drinking the water or ice on the property. We easily felt at home and hope to return again.

Slice of paradise

This home was as pictured, but so much more. The views alone continued to take our breaths away every day of the trip. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer and dryer were such a necessary piece of the house. The pool was a wonderful spot to hang after a day at the beach and having many bedrooms made it feel like a mini hotel. Anaseeia was so helpful and friendly and we appreciate her hospitality! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect getaway! We loved that we could get a workout in walking down to cinnamon bay and back up! Did the walk every day.

INCREDIBLE!

If you’re looking for a beautiful villa with gorgeous views and close to North shore beaches, and/or town, this is your place. This villa is better in person than the photos. The layout allows for the utmost privacy of each bedroom suite, yet the common areas are large and convenient for everyone in your group to gather. The chef’s kitchen is amazing and fully stocked with anything you could think you might need. The outside area consists of several levels for your dining, morning coffee or sunset cocktails. Did I mention the views!?! Spectacular! The pool was thoroughly enjoyed and not only has a slide from one pool to the other, but has its own secret grotto. The entire villa was very well thought out and planned. The villa managers are absolute gems and take care of any questions promptly. Pleasant and responsive. Parking is easy and can accommodate several cars. We are frequent visitors to STJ and this villa ranks extremely high on our list. We usually stay in either Peter Bay or Ditlef Point, but this is the villa we will stay again. I can highly recommend Valhalla Villa and promise it will not disappoint.

Paradise Found

Just spent a week at Valhalla with a group of 13 celebrating my wife’s 60th and our 30th wedding anniversary. This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had - by far. The house is amazing. While the photos are very representative of the house itself, there is nothing like walking through the front door and experiencing the amazing views firsthand - simply breathtaking. The layout is very conducive to hosting large groups like ours with plenty of great spaces to enjoy as a group or private areas to sneak away and relax. Every detail of the house is well thought out - the gourmet kitchen has everything you could possibly need (all new), there’s a great outdoor grill area, multiple ice makers, filtered water, super comfortable beds, great furniture throughout, etc. Having said that, the true secret ingredient of this amazing trip was Anysia and Scott, who were available to help out before and during our stay. Every recommendation they made was perfect, they couldn’t have been more gracious in helping me with many special touches (reservations, flowers, cake, food, etc.), and they were simply delightful to be around. They’re even incredible musicians! If you are planning a special celebration as we were, I would highly recommend hiring a private chef for the house ….. add Anysia and Scott performing poolside and you’ll have the perfect evening. We certainly did! Can’t wait to go back …..

Incredibly Views, Stunning Property - this has it all!

Dec. 2023 Our multigenerational family had a wonderful Christmas getaway to explore Valhalla Villa on St. John. We carefully researched videos, descriptions, photos, and VRBO website reviews, and were ecstatic to find that the online representation matched the reality upon our arrival. While prior reviews accurately highlighted the awesome nearby beaches, the high-end kitchen, luxurious bedrooms, heated upper pool, and personalized décor, I'd like to share a few other highlights. The bunkroom for our grandkids, not fully shown in photos, revealed its enormous space, complete with foosball, a separate TV/gaming room with beanbag chairs, a table for eating and a cozy couch. A separate king suite for parents abutted the bunkroom. The couple without children enjoyed their suite, separate from the main house, providing morning tranquility and an extra half bath located next to the pool. They used the patio for exercise, and took Zoom calls in the private office. While the steep mountain road leading to the house needed a jeep-type vehicle and faith in our family's driving, it added to the adventure. Adjusting to the full moon shining on my pillow through windows without shades was a quirky yet enchanting experience. The heat in the fan-cooled main rooms (bedrooms had A/C) pushed us to embrace the spectacular “outdoor living.” In conclusion, Valhalla exceeded expectations, offering not just a relaxing vacation but a newfound appreciation for the charm of island living.

We're hoping to add a 3d tour soon! 100% agree with your point that even with a "full" villa, there are so many spots where one can find one's own space and the villa never feels crowded. We were there with 14 of us there in early December and it never felt crowded.

We're a family of four who love the Virgin Islands. We spent COVID living down here, but alas have had to go back to real life and so are now renting our house after completing an extensive renovation..

When we decided to buy in St. John, we looked at every part of the island. Ultimately nothing can compare with Estate Catherineberg. We're minutes from the best beaches in world, yet no more than a 12 minute drive to Cruz Bay or 15 minute drive to Coral Bay. With the Midway market opening last year, there is gas and groceries within a couple minutes of the house. Also - you can have a great dinner at the Cinnamon Bay campground 7 nights a week if you get tired of cooking in the gourmet kitchen!

A truly unspoiled view, and one of the most instagrammable pools in the entire Virgin Islands. Our home sits on two acres, and when you step out on the deck and look out over the infinity pool the only homes you'll see are in Tortola or Jost van Dyke! Watch the mega yachts anchor in Maho and go to sleep to the sound of waves crashes at Cinnamon. We also have caretakers who live on property (in a complete separate space) to ensure that your stay is everything you hoped for.
