UPDATE: The beaches, restaurants, and swimming areas are now open! This apartment has been thoroughly cleaned, and contactless check-in is available.

This fantastic newly remodeled one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor and features two queen beds with a view of the ocean. The living room, kitchen, and balcony all provide ocean views. The property includes a well-designed kitchen and bathroom with granite countertops and enough space for four guests. It's perfect for weekend getaways or longer visits for couples. Additional amenities include an LCD TV and granite worktops.

The resort offers three lazy rivers, seven hot tubs, two indoor and outdoor pools, a sizeable kid-friendly fun activity pool area, and more. There are pools with ocean views, a large pool deck, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, a lazy river ride, and a kid-friendly interactive splash and play area. Free wifi is also available.

The location is perfect, next to Family Kingdom Amusement Park and a short drive from the beach, Market Common, the IMAX Theater, Ripley's Aquarium, and Broadway at the Beach. Many popular eateries, shops, golf courses, and tourist destinations are just a quick drive away.

PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed from March 1 to October 31.
Pets are only allowed for long-term renters (30+ days) from November to February.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Guests will not have access to the waterslides. All other amenities are accessible

Excellent Amenities terrible cleanliness

My family and I had a wonderful time at Compass Cove. Everything on the resort was amazing. When we go back we will be booking through Compass Cove directly and not stay through Vrbo or a rental company. The condo itself was in terrible condition. I had to thoroughly clean upon arrival. The sliding glass door had not been cleaned there was dirt and soil in all of the window seals. The dishes were dirty. The trash can under the bag was dirty.

Roach traps everywhere, cheap cooking supplies, towels were small and holes in them, didn't want to send pictures of my ID and credit card to their email and was told to go to the office where I had to text and email and wait 20 minutes for someone to open the door. They have no secure site to upload such things and expect you to either text or send via email which is very unsafe. Was contacted both days we were there about maintenance coming which was inconvenient for us. (First day they said it was the wrong number after calling 3x back to back, second day they wanted to install a Roku stick and never left a message just kept calling and calling until we answered) Constant emails and texts about not staining their towels or taking anything and be sure to check out made us feel incredibly unwelcomed and reminded us daily that it was solely a business transaction. Beds were old incredibly uncomfortable and squeaky. Do not recommend, I'd rather pay more and have a more comfortable stay and rent from someone that wants to make up feel welcomed.

Realtor not individual owner

I use VRBO because it’s through owners, not realtor companies and I will continue to use VRBO because I’ve always had a good experience because it’s always been through owners. The. The pictures and description of the actual room were very misleading. It was very rundown not updated like it said renovated. There were holes in the wall in the bathroom. The refrigerator was rusted on the outside. It was extremely small and you could barely open the door because the one bedroom was at the front where the door coming in and out of had a dresser and it would not open all the way. Usually the floor plan of a one bedroom condo. Is that of a bedroom as a private section of the condo this was an actual hotel room not a condo we did however enjoy the location and the beautiful view from the balcony , and all of the pools and access to the beach . so all in all, yes we had a good time together just a huge disappointment in the actual supposing Lee a condo. I love using VRBO but from now on, will make sure it is not through a realtor company thank you very much

Nice, many conveniences.

Went well. We even had a TV maintenance problem, service responded that night... couldn't believe repairman came in at 9pm! Kitchen had all we needed, plenty of towels in bathroom. Short drive to store for coffee and snacks, and a Ben & Jerry's too conveniently located just a block away. Pool areas very nice! Right on the beach. "Front Desk" communication by email gave immediate answers to questions...my first VRBO vacation location was a good experience. Mentions for future visitors: bring dish soap, and small ice chest, ice machine is convenient.
