Entire Executive Home with Upscale Features

This is a custom one-level home situated on a .5 acre lot in a location that is central, but on a quiet and seemingly private street. It is close to trails and only about 5 miles from MCRD Parris Island (conveniently located for families of graduates).

The home has many great features, including a screened and an unscreened deck, instant boiling kettle water from a special tap (name), an office attached to the master bedroom, adjustable bed (with remote) in master bedroom, upgraded large appliances, spacious (over 2600 sq ft) and open-concept floor plan, generously-sized dining room with a beautiful dining set (for that very special meal), a TV in each bedroom, everything is on one level, and much more!

The master suite is on one side of the house, with a king-sized bed, office space, walk-in-closet and full en-suite bathroom. Another side of the home has the powder room and then a hallway that leads to the other two bedrooms (each with a queen-sized bed) and shared bathroom. The home sleeps 6 in total.

Linens, towels, etc. will all be provided for your stay. If desired, please make use of our cookware, dishes, utensils, cutlery, small and large appliances —-everything there is available for your use and convenience during your stay.

MY TRIP STARTED OUT FINE BUT ENDED ON A BAD NOTE. THE HOME LOST INTERNET AND THE HOST TOLD ME TO DISCONNECT WIFI AND PLUG BACK IN. ALL THE BED MATTRESSES NEED UPGRADING. ONE WAS HARD AS A ROCK, MY BED WHICH WAS ADJUSTABLE WAS UNEVEN AND IT ROCKED IF YOU SAT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED. THERE WAS ALSO A TOILET THAT I HAD TO KEEP TAKING THE TOP OF SO THAT IT WOULD FLUSH. THERE WAS ALSO AN ALARM SYSTEM WHICH NEVER WORKED EVENTHOUGH WE TOLD HOST ON THE FIRST DAY. I MENTIONED ALL THESE TO HOST AND REQUESTED SOME COMPENSATION FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND WAS MET WITH A EMAIL SCATHING ME SAYING ALL COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED SOONER. I DEALT WITH THE OTHER ISSUES MYSELF BUT WHEN THE INTERNET CUT OFF THAT WS THE LAST STRAW. I INCURRED A 15 FEE FROM MY WIRELESS COMPANY FOR HAVING TO USE MY OHONE AS A HOT SPOT AND USING UP ALL OF MY DATA. HOST DID NOT OFFER ANY COMPENSATION AND WASNT NICE AT ALL ABOUT THE ISSUES WITH HER HOUSE. THIS HOUSE NEEDS SOME UPKEEP.

Celebration of Life

We were there to conduct a celebration of life for my brother in law on Parris Island. He was a Marine and wanted his ashes spread on the water on the base. The stay at this vrbo was private, quiet, comfortable and ideal for a family gathering.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while attending family day and graduation ceremony at USMC Parris Island. Many conveniences super close for anything you need, less than 10 minute drive to base and an easy drive. Plenty of room in the house, nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect!

Overall, this property needs some TLC. The size and layout of the house was perfect. However, there were several items found broken or missing and the cleanliness was lacking. All notifications sent were responded to, however not all items were addressed.

Amazing Stay

I came down for my daughter’s graduation. The communication with the owner was fantastic and the home was very spacious, clean, and accommodating. Enough space to enjoy a family dinner. Would highly recommend.

Spacious home, needs some repairs

We had a great family trip to Beaufort and overall enjoyed our time at Mossy Oaks. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished, on a beautiful, quiet street. We ran into several issues with items that needed repair, starting with the lock on the front door, which was very difficult to open when we arrived and throughout the visit. Included items were pretty bare bones: microwave was missing, dishwasher didn't work, no laundry detergent, no shampoo, etc. Not a huge deal. It would have been helpful to have a binder of instructions for things like how to turn on the stove, etc, but we eventually figured it out. Overall it was a fine stay and the host was easy to reach. Checkout was very easy and required no extra time for cleaning, stripping beds, etc, which I appreciated with a busy family.

This property is very well maintained. Clean and it provides all the amenities we needed. We needed assistance with something and it was immediately taken care of. The owners/property managers really care about the renters experience and we had an excellent one. It is very close to Parris Island so we were able to enjoy our son’s Family Day and Graduation without any traveling delays. I would use this property again and highly recommend it. Thank you to the owner and manager!!

Location was very convenient to PI. The home was spacious and the internet access and pay tv a pleasant bonus. The home is in need of some internal repairs and the master bed needs a new mattress. Whoever is responsible for cleaning the home did not do a very good job. Overall we came we stayed and we left. Thanks

Unforgettable weekend

My family and I were visiting South Carolina from Virginia to spend time with my mother for Mother’s Day. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures. Cleanliness and comfort is top rated.
