Surrounded by woods and trails for adventures on ORV and snowmobiles!! Access to the Clubhouse with indoor heated pool with water slide, whirlpool area and splash area along with hot tub. Near Ski resorts, Lake Otsego and Torch Lake. Only one hour to the Mackinac Bridge for day trips to the UP. Golf course and airport on Lakes of the North Property. Perfect and cozy cabin finished with wood interiors, double oven, and open living space. Open loft with two queens, television. Stocked with a variety of family games. Coffee, tea, cocoa and hot cider provided to make sure each day starts off with something for each guest. Crackling fires indoors in the woodstove or outdoors in the bonfire area. Blackstone Grill for outdoor cooking. Front porch swing perfect for quiet mornings. Children’s tree swing where we have made some fun family memories!

Great Property at Lakes of the North

Property is open and spacious with plenty of amenities and generous hosts! My family visits Lakes of the North annually and this was the best property we have stayed in so far! Hosts were generous and responsive and very console in their communication.

Exceeded our expectations

Very clean (spotless !!) comfy cabin in the woods. We will stay here again next vacation or long weekend and will recommend it to friends who want to visit the Gaylord area. Very nice stay.

Lakes of the North cabin

My husband and I stayed at the cabin just for two-nights weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new, very cozy and decorated with a taste. There is a firepit in the back with chairs around, which was a nice addition to our stay. I also enjoyed my morning coffee on the swing on the front porch. Very nice place for a couple or a small family.

2023 Golf trip

Very enjoyable get-away. Some suggestions would be for a good set of steak/kitchen knifes and a gas cooking grill in addition to the griddle there (the griddle was nice). Enjoyed the abundance of firewood available. Will be on my list for next year.

Anniversary week

We really enjoyed it for us two. The bed was to soft for us with back issues. There is a camera on the front porch and back porch which made us feel a bit creepy and the basement windows covered with tape and the basement door is locked. They also have some personnel belongings inside. Other then all that it was very nice to stay in very clean. Could accommodate a small family đŸ‘Ș upstairs is best for kids or teens.
